It is tough mate. I’m 11 days out and feel your pain. Especially on rest days. But it is what it is. As Kuba says how bad do you want it? To me hunger is nothing to the feeling ill feel when I win my show. I want it more than any kind of hunger or want for food. For me the only thing that helps is fasting to make my eating window smaller as it’s easier to go without food in the first few hours of the day where as if I eat it’s like opening the flood gates to hunger.

Hi haider. I’ve never caved in or cheated but yesterday was hard. I allow myself 2 cans of diet soda a day but yesterday I had 3. Which won’t hurt.

It’s going to get hard and your going to have bad days. These days define what your made of to me, do you really have the minerals to do this or no ? Would you rather win or satisfy your hunger ?
You need to thrive of the hard days and be thankful for the opportunity to be able to do this.

That’s wat I told myself bud. The bigger picture is more important. It’s just been so fukin hard today. Worst yet. My 2 cans of diet pop I allow myself didn’t cut it at all today mate lol

what always helped me is upping the greens or put myself under a bunchload of work so you don‘t think about food that often
Today has been a struggle I must admit. All I could think about was burgers chips cheesecake. It wud of been so easy for me to cave in today. All I cud think about during training was a dirty kebab. But instead went home and had my usual ricecrispys and whey post workout meal

Cheating on the diet won’t help. However, putting on body fat will make you feel better. Let’s face it, the level of conditioning that we (should be) striving for is not a healthy/comfortable place for the body to be in. You’re going to hurt as long as you’re making progress. Embrace it if you can.

It’s hard man. I wish there was a way to make it not hurt, but your output is probably at an all time high while your intake is near an all time low. You’re lean and the leaner you get, the worse you feel.
I personally become very reflective as I near the end of a contest prep. Think about what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. Everyday single morning remind yourself of what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. This is hard and it sure as hell isnt for everyone, but if you can stick it out and finish strong I promise you won’t regret itIt’s hard mate. Today has been a real struggle. Real bad

Hey James/lou. I seen you used the liner hack squat in this video , what’s your thoughts on it. I use it all the time instead of normal hack as I find tension is 100% on the quads and not on the lower back. What u guys reakon?
Hi Dean, to be honest I wasn’t overly keen on it! It was the first time I had ever used one. It did hit the quad very hard but for me I felt a lot of pressure on the knee and the Seat was so short I felt like I was sliding out of it! Probably just because I’m not used to using one. I will definitely give it another go at some point but prefer normal hacks and leg presses for sure!!

Yes mate everyones biomechanics is different so different machines exercises hit our muscles and limbs differently! It’s good that you’ve got a great connection with it and able to stick to using that rather than following what others do! I’ve always been intersted in wat people do because in all years I’ve been training I’ve always weighed raw. I know people sometimes weight carbs cooked but that’s a difficult one because I can make my 60g dry weight rice I have weigh 250-300g or 150-200 after cooking -
