I take mine fasted an hour or so pre.
If i have a meal pre i’ll add 1tbsp nordic fish oil as well.
Just so i get no gainz at all. -

thanks for the response. i get what you’re saying and can see it for guys who eat a couple of hours before its a great way to get a meal in between two meals and re-spike MPS. But i train early and have done for years. so will usually eat something small and easy to digest when i wake up, then train and eat my post workout after.
I get the carb side because i don’t ingest much pre-workout, its normally just 30-40g of protein and some fruit or a bit of toast/cereal. Possibly 30-40g also of carbs, as i have gone higher but it just puts me back to sleep. This is why i initially added HBCD. So additional fuel i can see benefit, but as its only 3 hours max since i have the shake before I’m eating again i don’t really get the need for additional EAAs? I know quite a few guys who even training later in the day will have a meal an hour before training. Plus all the carbs they eat prior and still have an Intra? I know John Meadows was big on it back in the day and he was eating close to his workout and again pretty much straight after meaning it was a like a 4 hour meal!
Recently when i’m dieting i’ll often drop any pre meals and just train semi-fasted with my dextrin and EAA, and then just EAA. Never noticed any difference in recovery from this so its often been way into a pushing up phase where I’ll even add a pre. I get though for the big, big guys really pushing, then its just a case of a chance to get in additional calories.

If i have something like a banana and whey an half an hour pre is there point in having a full intra as MPS would be raised from that for 2 hours anyway?
I suppose this would depend how long post I eat again?

I normally get through a pint of water in the night. I’ll have a big drink before bed which usually wakes me up around midnight for a per where I’ll drink most of the pint. Then finish it on wake and another pint of so once I’m down stairs. I’d look to start training about 45-60 mins after waking. Where as now I’m awake about an hour, eat and then train an hour later. But the need to be in work earlier from now means I’d be up at 4am in order to do this. I just wouldn’t be able to get in bed for 9 each night meaning I’d lose out on sleep.

I don’t think it’s advisable to take TUDCA on the same day as consuming alcohol from what I know. I would take it the day after instead, unless you plan to drink again and if that’s the case, I’d wait until your holiday is over and then get back to supplementing with it afterwards.
Hmm. Yeah that was an option to just knock it on the head. Or lower the dose first thing in the morning and before bed. But drinking isn’t excessive. No more than a few drinks at lunch and dinner. Nothing hangover worthy. Those days got me are done.

Yeah I’m not pre loading. Just a normal dose a few hours before and the rest after and before bed.

I wouldn’t worry too much m8, you can take them as dosed evenly throughout the day. Glutathione liposomal is also good for periods of drinking
Thanks Ryan. I was under the impression it can be more damaging having TUDCA pre alcohol or with. Best off post or keeping it separate? I’m not getting smashed or high dosing the TUDCA hence the feeling I was overthinking it.

Not as good as it was. My supplier for it has packed in so will use someone else now
