Another awesome Back and Hams session this morning…..
There’s quite a few of us being coached by JP running this sort of split and I think we all agree that today is a love/hate day.
Banded Deadlifts up to an ALL OUT workset of 8 reps followed by Banded V Squat Good Mornings….insane lower back and erector pump…..
I posted on my InstaStory how I setup my bands and linked to JamieDoRego instagram for the alternate way of just draping the band over the bar. Either way works once you’ve got tension at the top of the lift.
Hams then finished off with a dropset from death of 50 rep high leg press……my Dad trains in the morning time and as I had just finished nightshift he was just in the gym this morning as I was finishing off with this so he “gladly” offered to strip plates off…..thanks Dad lol.
Push in the morning…..although work has been extremely stressful, certain adaptogens are doing their job and keeping me calm.
75g carbs intra and 200g PWO saw my fasted BG at 6.5 mmol 30 mins after PWO before bed.
4 caps RPG with PWO meal.5 hours later after sleeping, fasted BG back to 3.9 mmol so RPG is making a big difference since we added it in post show 🙂

LOL….yeah probably not such a good idea.
The research though is very interesting and may be something to work on during normal day to day activity to become more cognoscente of nasal breathing in hopes it translates over 🙂

It’s got to do with how it affects clearance of catecholamines like epinephrine and norepinephrine.
Nothing you can really do here except avoid as your exacerbating your own genetics.

E2 is strangely low and so is SHBG which is interesting.
19-Nors do show up in ELISA as E2 but its normally Tren which has a greater affinity for the assay.
E3D for Aromasin would be right to start.

I always take on empty stomach immediately out of bed….then 30 minutes later have first meal.

From what I’ve read JP, CPAP users can take advantage of it especially if it’s an automated flow machine. Probably take just a little bit getting used to and just relaxing with only breathing through nose.
Some very positive things brought forward in the 2nd video and having experimented for 4 months I can atteat to the benefits 🙂

I’m dping Banded Deadlifts mate with a band looped around each end of bar and you stand in top of it.
For Banded Rack Pulls, you wrap the band around the bar and secure it to a peg on the bottom of your safety squat rack so when you pull the tension is at the top of the lift.
JP’s recent pull vudeo has him doing banded rack pulls but I can post a video of the banded deadlift when I train it next.

Regarding the CPAP and sleep apnea, have you tried mouth taping as a way to force breathing through nose and keep trachea relaxed?

I was a terrible snorer before and tried this during our recent prep and my sleep quality vastly improved. A little strange to do but for the increased recovery etc. it was worth it….even if Morgan thought I was crazy at times LOL.
And no complaints about snoring any more LOL.
I done it for 3 months and tried without the tape these past 2 weeks and no longer snoring and breathing efficiently through my nose rather than mouth when asleep.

The only issue I have with continuous hCG is the potential to perhaps augment shutdown of the HPTA feedback by continuously stimulating it with hCG even with low dose when taking exogenous hormones. I haven’t seen any research to prove this but it makes logical sense.
I know Dr Crisler is an advocate of 500 i.u hCG during TRT to maintain this function.
I just have my reservations that continuously sending a signal to the Pituitary may not be a good idea long term.Ultimately, there are several research proven protocols involving HMG and hCG to up regulate sperm production; which is ultimately why you run hCG and HMG to begin with when performing PCT.
