Subtle Art Of Not Giving A Fuck was a great read.Albeit I was already doing what the book says ????????

Like Stephen, my job is chief shift engineer of a critical process at Intel overseeing 70 chambers which run at 145 million euro an hour on top of all your DMs and now Calum ???????? so stress is a big oart of my life but I CONTROL IT. Not the other way around.

What I will say is If you’re not immediate friend or family to me then your opinion is not going to hold much to me ????????

Probably why Ive weeded out a lot of the fake people I grew up with or why I dont care calling out bullshit even at my own job ????????

The other thing separate to stress is willpower and realising you only have a FINITE amount per day so choosing carefully what you spend it on

Your words were that it doesn’t enhance dopamine “production” which it does. You can maybe talk about its bioavailability but that part might not be correct either.

In a normal physiological setting it does as part of the negative feedback loop. Dopamine augments prolactin release, prolactin augments dopamine release into the portal.

However in lactation, dopamine secretion remains low in a period of elevated prolactin secretion.
This is associated with a decrease in dopamine turnover in hypothalamic dopamine neurons and a profound suppression of tyrosine hydroxylase.

Ok so check in with JP and plan was no change for this coming week.

However today’s Hamstring, Shoulder, Triceps session just wasn’t there as we enter week 16 of this block.

Warming up every set felt heavy af during 2nd exercise Stiff Legged Barbell Deadlift.

Previous roation 2 weeks ago was 95 a side x 5 so I attempted to try progress it again.

1st rep with it and I got buried.into the bottom. After this I abandoned the movement in favour of bodyweight Glute Ham Raises.

Although sleep has been good all week, I’m down over 6 lbs from last week with the stress of earlier in the week ????

Time to deload for the coming week. I’ll book in with Brian every other day for sports massage and will train every other day with bsseline volume and take nothing nowhere near failure.

Many thabks for your input guys but I would like to get into more detail as in

Cardio – How much and what type is best?

Hydration – Already stated as 5-6 liters

Sodium – Should add salt to meals or nit as there is quite a debate on this (Stan Effering)

Cardio – HIIT to aid arterial elasticity

    Hydration – dependent on bodyweight

Electrolyte- BW dependent but ensure hitting all of them Na, K, Ca, Mg

As stated above AAS will augment electrolyte retention as will E2…..
No brainer to lowering E2 – either remove or reduce the aromatising source

Can ypu please give context….One test levels are fine the other T3 is just slight out of range and TSH is at 2.7 which isn’t too high.

You do have the presence of TPO and TG antibodies but they are just out of the functional “normal” range.

I would retest everything in a month and assess again.

You need a working average with TSH to get a better picture.

    As for increasing T4 to T3 conversion – that’s a minefield.
Read my article on the site as a starting point.

Leydig cell atrophy is the cause here due to insensitivity to endogenous LH production.

As for health implications, none that have been documented other than those who moan that recovery will be longer post cycle.
However, provided the Leydig cells have remain responsive to LH, the volume returns quickly with the use of exogenous hCG during PCT.

HI Dawid (as repleid to in email sent)

Its not necessary to stop but would be wise to drop to a physiological dose of T if deciding to stay on.

Otherwise a full PCT will get HPTA working again so that you are producing your own FSH and naturally producing sperm.

hCG/hMG whilst on TRT will aid sperm production.
However, this will only work if you are still producing sperm
You would have to confirm that you are producing some sperm (meaning sperm count is not zero) to use gonadotropins for increasing sperm production whilst using exogenous hormones.

Stephen – Bostin’s protocol is way over the top and not needed at all. Pure sensationalism.

It’s a tad scientific, am I right in saying androgens will have lowered MAOA? So supplementation and stopping use of steroids should correct this?

Its a tad scientific but a simple fix…..

COMT is an enzyme which clears neurotransmitters AND estrogen.

Androgens speed up the action of the enzyme COMT

COMT requires Magensium as its cofactor……

It COMT slows down and doesn’t work properly, dopamine and epinephrine/norepinephrine build up within the brain and casue anxiety.

Either remove the androgrens or I’ll let you figure out what you need supplement with more of 😉

Ok update guys and what a week it has been.

I finished working nighshift Sunday morning at 4.30 a.m from home.
I had been wary of travelling back down to Dublin on Saturday as Morgan’s due date was Monday so I stayed and worked from home for the week.

Anyway, I had just gotten asleep when at 6 a.m Morgan woke me saying she was feeling contractions…..
So we spent all day waiting and timing until it got to a point 6 p.m when it was time to go the hospital.
She was such a champ, no painkilling and breathing through the contractions.

We wanted a water birth so she was in the birthing pool on and off and was progressing nicely under midwife led care.
However, at some point around 11 a.m her back started hurting her and at the next check at 1 p.m she was still 9 cm and not progressing.
So that was the water birth out and transfered into Labour ward for doctor assessment.
    Still Morgan was refusing painkillers.

They examined Morgan and found the baby had rotated and was back to back which can be a tricky delivery as the head isn’t made to fit down the birth canal this way.
Anyway, after discussing it we decided a C-section was probably best as Morgan was exhausted. She’d be in labour now 34 hours and no sleep.
When they came to do the consent, the pediatrician surgeon kept watching the baby HR monitor. I had noticed it drop on and off a couple of times but now it was down at 60 bpm from average 160 bpm.
They turned Morgan over on side and back again but no response to HR.
Then the buzzer was hit and everyone came rushing in to take her to theatre ASAP – at this stage I really was thinking the worst and maybe the cord had gone around the baby’s neck.
I stood outside theatre until Midwife Sister came and told me baby HR had stabilised and they were going to do a local C-section so I could be present.

And so at 3.45 p.m Monday 11th February – Calum Dean St Mart was born at 8lb 5 oz 😀
    On his due date :L

By the time I got home that night I had 2 hours sleep in over 60 hours – I have never slept like I did that night – dead.

Spent Tuesday at the hospital and thankfully Morgan was let out Wednesday so I’ve been busy taking care of her and the house.
Cooking, cleaning, taking care of Calum whilst she rests.

Still fitting in training to schedule and now getting back to normal routine.

Sleep has not suffered at all LOL.
Told everyone I’d be prepped for when the baby comes 😀

    Checked in with JP yesterday.
Weight was down to 198.9 from 206 but I wasn’t surprised considering the events earlier in the week. I didn’t bring much food to the hospital with me and missed some meals Sunday and Monday.

Rest day today – my parents are travelling up again from Dublin to spend the night here.

For everyone who has been following since this time last year, crazy to think I was planning the PCT then to now being where we are now…..

    Such a surreal feeling.

OK – enough baby stories – time to get back to bodybuilding, health and supplementation 🙂

As you all seen MPS Max and Sustain dropped this week and PREpare is on the way soon.

Really excited to hear all your feedback on the products!

Llion – I would check your daily electrolyte balance – watch my IG highlight on Nocturia.

Acer – Calcium Pyruvate has some research behind it for fat burning

Will – for flavouring food sure. For its health benefits, maybe but I’m not sold on its magical properties. Definitely doesn’t hurt to put on your vegetables and rice to flavour and if you get any added benefits from that then perfect.

Matt – All testosterone derivatives increases HL synthesis in the liver which breaks down HDL. The 17-alpha alkylated orals do the same.
Definitely the Pauling therapy will help bring LDL down and focus on keeping LDL oxidation low with antioxidant use.
Have a read of my sticky post on supplementation.

Mirin – thanks buddy. Health is always a priority.

    As above.

The lyophilisation is what you are paying for with a premium product.
Lyophillisation removes water and vacuum seals to create an inert atmosphere to prevent breakdown.

    Was the vial vaccum sealed?
Did you try put a needle in with an empty syringe and see if there’s positive pressure in the vial?
Watch my IG highlight on Peptide Purity and you’ll see what I mean by the above.

Otherwise you’re being sold fools gold.

True Argon gas will create an inert atmosphere in the vial and is a technique we used in the lab to preserve chemicals we synthesised but its not fool proof. Degradation still occurs.
