How meticulous are they being with their food tracking?

What effort is being measured for their cardio?

Have they had bloodwork regardless of natural or enhanced to ensure everything is good?

    Weight loss isn’t magical unfortunately…….

Either they are not following the diet 100%, lacking effort somewhere or kcal needs to be adjusted.

    Hi Phil,

If cialis/citrulline have addressed the weak erection issue then it is a case of ASIH – Androgenic Steroid Induced Hypogonadism.

The CNS can become resistant to high androgens.
Neuronal pathways are plastic, they adapt.
Give it higher levels of androgrens which then affect tryptophan metabolism and serotonin production then of course you’re setting yourself up for libido issues as the CNS will be looking for higher levels of androgens to function “optimally”

So whilst TT may be in a supraphysiological range, it doesn’t mean its going to positively work on the CNS.

This is where the problem with people not appreciating that ASIH is very real unfortunately……

For tracking cardiac health, they are useful but do have their own inaccuracies.

Useful for montioring activity and potentially sleep.

You can pick up cheaper alternatives to try online before investing in a Fitbit

Another busy week so sorry I haven’t been updating every single day.

Check in today – 204.5 lb.
Not really sure where the 7 lb weight increase came from but no changes for this week from JP.

    Another fantastic week of training.

Sun – Hamstrings/Shoulders/Triceps 1 -> PBs here; Still Legged DB Deadlift with 70kg DBs backed off to purple banded 50kg.

Mon – Back Width 1 and our 36 week appointment with the midwife, then Morgan got a new car; travelled back to Dublin for work on Tuesday.

Tues – Rested; had deep tissue work with Glenn on my Hamstrings and left Shoulder which has been at me a little.

Wed – Chest, Shoulders, Biceps 2 – Again progressed here, then up the road again back home to Strabane.

Thurs – Legs 2 – after dropping out Lying Leg Curls and Leg Extensions I decided to put them in for the session.
Maxed out the Life Extension Lying Leg Curl (plus 10kg plate) and Leg Extension (plus 30kg) so guess they’re out for a while now.
Rest of session was banded work – Leg Press and Hack Squat.

Fri – Back Thickness 2; left shoulder/tricep was niggling but managed to progress. Just took my time to warm up lats and tricep/lat insertion.

Rested today as my brother was up staying with us to kickbox in Derry for the Northern Irish National Championships.
He won 2 divisions and got bronze in full contact.
Very nostalgic but definitely don’t miss it.

jsaild – this is a tough one and maybe @jordan-peters can further it.

I guess once I was given the go ahead to train properly from Dr Conn with my neck, my training intensity took up again after effectively 6 months of “careful” training combine that then with the better hormonal environment from the TRT, the mitochondria uncoupling and viceral fat burning from the DNP, and just being monotonous and meticulous with diet set the basis for the recomp.

Every week I focused on getting really fckn strong again like 2017 so I guess my output when training is probably been one of the most important factors.

Also, I have been extremely lean in the past so losing bodyfat for me isn’t too hard once everything is controlled properly.

Juan – there’s loads – diarrhea, bloating, pain, digestion issues.

Mind-Muscle – there is a risk of causing issues with depleting folate and SAMe as methyl b12 aids in methionine and homocysteine recycling.
It can also be a sign of potential dysbiosis in the gut as microbes produce the majority of B12 for the body.

Its an artefact of increased EPO production from the kidneys due to the androgens.

Either lower dose or blood let to control.

Hair Loss / Hair growth is a simultaneous process over the course of 3 month period.

Depends on what has happened at the follicular level which is very hard to say

Kidney function is probably better assessed using a mutli factorial model….

eGFR also doesn’t take into consideration weight or BMI for classical calculation.

Urinalysis combined with bloodwork (electrolytes, protein content) and creatinine gives a better picture.
E.G No protein in urine, LDH and chloride in good range, albumin/globulin not in excess.

Astragulus mainly has a restorative effect via aiding in the clearance of creatinine so the kidneys have less to remove.
It doesn’t directly cause structural repair per se.

Less substances the gloermuli have to filter, the better kidney function is preserved.

Correct in terms of hormonal baseline.

DHEA-s and Progesterone for a female are also useful
