May well be a case of overthinking! I just thought it was odd sleeping patterns changed! Thank you both as always.

Injection site and arm of cortisone – no pain anymore, this is due to being quite strict on rest – been told need to have rehab with it – this will be this Friday coming. Off to my first gym session tomorrow, but will take it easier to build up.
Work is manic and I am looking at ways to reducing stress.
My parents came to London last night from Liverpool and it was lovely to catch up, spending the day with them today and my wife is back from her business trip so quality time later today.

Just under 48 hours since I had my injection, pain under control, generally I am feeling fine, I may go to gym tomorrow morning, may not, but I am walking each day. If I flex my forearm, it hurts a little but nothing awful, just want to get back to training really.
Mood is mixed, wife has been away for 5 days, house is really quiet and with no gym and just work, it’s unhealthy. I felt sorry for myself after the injection, headed home and was going to binge on crap food, but remembered my low points pre transformation doing the same thing, I decided against it and ate and healthy as normal.
Mum and Dad visiting me for a meal today, not tempted with a red wine at all, will be sparkling water.
A little bit down but it’s ok, you get days like that, it’s life. I hope to return to training either tomorrow or Sunday latest.
Nutrition is on point, doing my steps, getting 8 hours sleep a night though it’s now changed to 8pm to 4-4:30am, odd.

Strength going through the roof, very pleased, loving the current gym – Stackhouse, Rayleigh – seeing others work hard really inspires me to push further, great community, so glad I made the decision to come here.
First strongman comp end of Jan 26, close to my parents and my family will be watching so +5 strength haha.
Need to be adding more protein and preferably more carbs too. TBJP CoR very much helps pre lifting, the rest days are paying off and I am less tired.
Bloods getting done mid Dec, which should see where I am at.

The free & total test looks fine as a natty, this was confirmed by an external GP too as well as my own research, cannot comment on rest.
Had this exact bloods test done May 25 via Randox.

Thanks for the comments folks, feedback taken onboard.

Met consultant.
The previous dr, injected PRP & cortisone at the same time, which essentially wipes the benefit, also injected the wrong place.
Advised another cortisone injection only in right location + rehab.
Fingers crossed.

morning guys
really good treatment yesterday with dr ansar mahmood at kyznclinics. i had some focused shockwave treatment on my shoulder / lats, sis ems on my back and an ultrasounded guided injection to reduce pain in my shoulder and lubricate my shoulder joint and keep inflammation down even more and i can already feel a difference this morning with range of movement.
check in with patrick today, we are stepping things up in prep. usually on a day where i train chest + side delts like i do every monday we run higher kcals but today we will run lower kcals. i am excited to push on and i will post my full diet up for higher and lower carbs days for you all to see
So I have a high and Low day food plan which is as follows;
All food is raw weight

How did you find the shockwave treatment Marc? Glad the treatment went well!
As I am trying to cleanly bulk – Whats the mindset of managing to eat all of that food? Is it, I have this goal and I have to accomplish it etc? How do you find your stomach copes?

Hi DamianSo I find the shockwave treatment works really well for me. I have focused shockwave not radial and this goes deeper into my muscles.
I’m cutting so this is not actually a lot of food for me, especially now following the lower calorie food days. My stomach is absolutely fine with the food, very flat.
My mindset is to be the very best version of me, so I’m very much results driven to bring my best whatever that takes[/quote]
Very inspirational, thanks Marc!

Very much appreciated all – next purchase is Vegan, looking to purchase this in a week or 2.
Very sceptical of the supp market.

Makes sense, thanks

Work has been full on, yesterday was most in one day, 13 hours, hope not to repeat.
I got to the gym this morning, yoke, atlas stones and a few accessory work – Yoke at 185kg was fine – 21 seconds for 10m, atlas 10 reps at 10kg (70kg for 5 without tacky then 80kg with tacky) – there is no 90kg stone and the bigger stones do not have a visible kg number – tried the next one – think it was 100kg and couldnt lift it off the ground – just need to think how to progress.
I am finding for strongman training – 4 days rather than 5 a week seems better, am going to speak to the coach to see.
Right arm is completely buggered, despite significant rest before, physio, PRP and cortisone – seeing a consultant on Tuesday. My first beginner strongman comp is in Oldham on Sat 24th Jan 26, very excited.
