Hey Jeffy! We just started cycle for the grow phase of prep. Initially it was set to 600 test, 500 eq, 200 npp as of this saturday, with the plan of having 26 weeks til show day.
Show day was released yesterday and we now have 22 weeks instead of 26! Kuba then increased a bit by adding 100eq and 100npp, not optimal as he said but necessary if I’m going to win my class which is the goal!
So the cycle is 600/600/300 with 25mg proviron in the morning, and 12.5mg aromasin eod. Ive never been on such “high” doses before so I think I’m gonna grow quite a bit on this! I think we keep this for 6-8 weeks until we start to shred me down
Nice one man. Can’t wait to see you blow up on that cycle! I always wondered what shorter mass phases was like.
Me too, I think this transformation will be Wild! Thank you for following ! -

The show date was released today and I’m 22 weeks out not 26. Kuba didnt start minicut but we’re gonna start a grow phase, so cycle started after 9 weeks of cruise and cardio taken from 30 minutes daily to 20.
These are current 22 weeks out -

Essentially prep starts tomorrow, tho it will have phases. First Kuba wants to recomp/minicut 3 weeks roughly and then start a “mass phase” before we dial things in. We have 26 weeks, so roughly 3 week minicut, 10 week push up then shred.
I’m very excited to change my body and see the end result! Been resting this whole week to set me up to be fresh! -

I just Got myself a stationary bike so I will use this for cardio instead of steps.
Legs today was hard! Progressions really had to be fought for, but I GOT THEM. Note to self, get a spotter for legpressing. I took a risky decision going for that last rep on my own but had to beat the log book????????♂️
My legs looked very good last showing back when I was 19 years old, I can’t wait to see them next time on stage after two more years of beating them up!

Very good position to be in before we even ramp things up in gear! -

MemberOctober 25, 2019 at 8:43 pm in reply to: Emil Borel 2019/2020 April show prep/off seasonSo 7 weeks cruising now and we added 10 mins fasted cardio and 20g carbs post workout.
There’s a show in Denmark in May, usually the 2nd weekend in May, which is in 28 weeks. Kuba has a plan to do a 26 week prep with the first 10/12 weeks being grow phase. Tho with a three week recomp/Quick minicut at the beginning I think.
I was in VERY good shape at my last showing which will be two years ago in May, and I will beat that conditioning this time.
Last time on stage I was 180.8 on stage, I’d like to be 204.5 roughly this time. It’s definitely doable and 24 lbs of stage weight will look amazing with an even better conditioning.

Tomorrow will be 6 weeks of cruise and just had bloods booked in on monday and I expect everything to be okay so should be able to go back on cycle soon.
I was 210.5 at today’s check in so a touch down in bodyweight, but performance still improving. No lifts have regressed at all only improved on this cruise.
Pictures from today’s check in. Potentially 29 weeks out -

Not pushing food higher yet, will make an appointment for bloods soon and see where they’re at.
Some pictures from post workout today. 212 lbs.
Potentially 30 weeks out. There’s a show in May that we might do -

Yesterday’s leg session was v good, strenght still increasing now almost 4 weeks into cruise but the session left me so smashed for work after! Luckily for me there was no overtime yesterday lol, monday and tuesday was crazy busy so I was lucky.
Pics from this morning, and then some from when I was this same weight, 212lbs, back in May! -

MemberOctober 2, 2019 at 12:31 am in reply to: Emil Borel 2019/2020 April show prep/off seasonMy weight seems to be holding around 212 lbs and still quite lean. I’ve gained back some normal love handle thickness but still have veins in my quads and abs which I have never at this bodyweight.
3 weeks into cruising and strenght still going up, this week all intensifiers are dropped to keep us from overreaching and I think this will allow me to keep progressing strenght.
Today something awesome happened, besides touching brand new weights on my presses today for push, I was asked if I compete – by a “normal” person – for the first time in my life. Guess I’m starting to look the part! -

Currently 3 weeks into cruise and feeling good, performance is still v good, progressing numbers all across the board! -

MemberSeptember 19, 2019 at 10:07 pm in reply to: Emil Borel 2019/2020 April show prep/off seasonToday check in with Kuba went well, performance is still flying high and weight actually dropped a touch from last week so food was increased again. Added 100g beetroot, 25g oats, 20g carbs from bread and 25g mince beef all to training day.
A few queues I picked up at the seminar at ultraflex has really made a difference in my training. Just small touches but it’s really helping me a lot. Highly recommend anyone to participate in another one they’re planning on doing at King’s Gym.
I’m generally loving where I’m at. Every year I just feel more focused on the goal and I’ve never felt so in tune with myself, my body and my goals before. I’m so excited for my future. I’m kind of eager to compete, it’s been a year and a half since stage but the improvements are massive and that’s the whole point, I want to win next time around and building that takes time!
