Thanks all – as suggested I’m pushing it pretty hard at 1000mcg per day at the moment and I’ll drop an update on how it’s going in the next week

Thanks for the advice all and appreciate the feedback.
All seem to be roughly the same with 300 test 100/200primo and add in primo as needed after
Hoping to do a junior show end of next year so need this growth phase to be decent lol

+ yes this was a long first cycle you could probably even count it as 2 in 1 🤣 but I done bloods halfway through and everything was in range surprisingly even SHBG or however you abbreviate it. Only testosterone and Estrogen was out of range as expected prolactin slightly high but wasn’t getting sides. Blood pressure 120/50, no spots (never been spotty)
First pic was around 78kg and second pic is 92kg
Just realised I done the math wrong and that’s actually 30.3lbs

Hi Hilly – thanks for the reply. All good now I was just stressing for no reason 🤣 not sure why but these last few weeks of dieting if one thing goes slightly not text book and as planned I lose my mind. Funnily enough I’ve never ever been like that in my life and been more whatever happens happens and a bit more laid back.
Only variable that changed is that on that particular Friday I was up at 4am instead of the usual 8am.
Weighed the next day and it all even back out again.

Thanks all ! Sounds like a common theme here so will be implementing these changes.
Appreciate it

Good work getting to this point. Are you following one set food plan daily? If so I would have adjust this to have a training day and rest day food plan, with slightly lower carbs on rest days. I agree with Nathan with increasing daily steps instead of direct cardio . You perhaps don’t need to make both of these changes at once though. Increase daily steps to 12k as and when progress stalls then add in a rest day food plan
Thanks Marc, Yeah I just eat the same rest day as I do training days. I’ll reduce the rest day carbs and see what happens. If then I slow or stall again I’ll increase steps as Nathan mentioned.
Thanks both – really enjoying this process though

Fully agree with the above, another 6 weeks should do it.
Excellent physique you are creating buddy
Thanks hilly appreciate the kind words !

Thanks for the replies both – mentally I’m sure I can diet for as long as it takes to be honest as long as I’ve been told by someone like yourselves who has experience I can trust the process if that makes sense 🤣
The timescale I had in mind was another 6 weeks also so that’s great that I was in the ballpark!
Again thanks both – I’ll probably put another pic up in 6 weeks asking am I lean enough now so I’ll keep you updated

Back to normal now (sort of lol) still putting in 12-14 hours a day into work so it’s hard to balance everything as I’m working 8-5 then going gym and trying to catch up on more work once I get home until around 2am so sleep has taken a hit.
Especially as I work from an office 50/50 with site work. Getting steps in is an absolute nightmare some days.
Anyways, push yesterday went very well. Inclined 60s for 8 which is 2 reps up from my previous best ever when I was pushing up in weight so that’s a bonus. Other than that small progressions on every other movement whether it was form or extra rep.
Pull today, my favourite session so that’ll be good

Been going off eyesight all week for my food as my scales broke (typical) went and bought a new one and forgot the batteries, went and picked up batteries and needed a screwdriver.
Other than food. Week has gone well, trained out of prophecy gym (north west Mecca) and it’s a great gym. A bit like the shed where all the equipment is good and not just having stuff there to fill the room.
Had an exam today on my Level 2 thermography and had 98% which is a bonus so I’m going to do my PCN exam tomorrow and hopefully be qualified to do BREEAM for commercial buildings which is a massive step up for my company.
Anyway rest day also tomorrow so just some cardio and a steps after I get home from Liverpool

MemberSeptember 9, 2024 at 11:24 pm in reply to: Road to stage – junior first timers 2025Todays been flat out, luckily a rest day.
Been on a course in Liverpool for thermography. Specifically building thermography but the equipment we use can actually detect muscle knots, muscle tears etc. essentially anything with a rise in temperature (blood in one area) then the shape of it determines the diagnosis. Pretty cool I’ve actually used it on my injuries in the past out of curiosity and managed to sort it.
Anyways enough of the boring stuff
Push tomorrow at the north west Mecca which is nathan deashas gym. Been there once last year and it is a very good gym. Excited to train there.
That’s it for now got to do some revision lol

Started with some warm ups because I done my errector in about 3 days ago during legs somehow on the pendulum.
First set SLDL 1 plate fine, 2 fine, 3 fine, 4 fine, 5 moved slow but was pain free. Went up to my top set of 5.5 and the first rep moved very fast but on lockout I felt a sharp pain shoot down my errector. Couldn’t even bend over without pain so just stopped and moved on to some machines and took it easy for the rest of the session.
Thought I’d be fine as it was healed up but obviously not. Anyways legs today. Going to try not aggravate it more than it already is.
