Best of luck Sas. Routing for you! After all the great videos up this prep, it’s even more exiting waiting for the end result!

    Jordan,

Just read through your old prep thread as you were dieting for Korea. 4 week out you were just below 251lbs and happy with your condition, so I can imagine with the extra tissue this year you must be starting to look sharp again at current weight.

I know last year, you were doing relatively frequent refeeds of up to 1300g carbs. Apologies if I’ve missed this, but have you doing refeeds this time round? I know last year you dieted from 276lb or so over a longer period, so I can imagine the diet is more a little more aggressive this year in terms of deficit/refeeds.

DazC – I believe that product contains phenibut which works via the Gaba receptors. That means one can theoretically build tolerance over time and may indeed suffer nasty withdrawals after cessation. It’s one to use carefully.

Vitamins and minerals won’t cause issues, as the body works optimally using the right amounts of these. Magnesium is almost always a good shout for sleep support, with no concern over tolerance or withdrawal. Magnesium glycinate is usually most preferred, as glycine is also an inhibitory amino acid, and it causes less gastric stress.

Sas, as always loving the latest video! Definitely enjoying your confidence, but unlike many, you’ve earnt the right to be confident and are backing it up!

Hope the rest of this week goes smooth and isn’t too stressful. Can’t wait to see the final look come next Saturday!

    Hi Jordan,

Condition for 5 or so weeks out is very impressive and as noted, your waist looks sucked in from previous years!

I’m curious as to the 240lb target you’re mentioning on Instagram etc. I know that your actual goal is to come all the way down until you’re in stage condition, but you originally had the goal of circa 250lbs or maybe as low as 245lb. With increlex coming out I’m guessing you’d be down to the low 250s. Is it just a case that your body fat is still too high and detail too lacking for anything above 240 to be a realistic target?

Ah man, just watched your 2 week out chest video Sas. Honestly, there is something so refreshing about your videos. I totally agreed with your point re most bodybuilding videos being exactly the same, and the one thing that stands out to me so much, is that your completely transparent and you have no agenda. You’re just sharing how you do things, why you do them, and encourage people to try different things and ultimately do what suits them; can’t beat that.

As for how you look… LOL. If that’s flat, I honestly don’t know what full looks like. Muscle quality really is top 6 Olympia, not a hint of a gut, round and super detailed muscle bellies, dry and vascular… nothing more to say!

I’m sure Jordan has his own thoughts and considerations, but the first thing that springs to mind is that downloadable content, would make it much easier for users to sign up for one month, download every video on the site, and share them all over the internet.

Sadly, people in the world think like that!

    Jordan,

Interesting in regards to the stress/cortisol control with Ashwagandha, Theanine and Rhodiola.

Do you feel like the adaptogens help to keep you calmer and more relaxed, or do you feel some of their activating/energising effects? They can have quite a variety of effects depending on the user and where their endocrine system is at during the period of use.

Sas, you look absolutely insane in that 4 week out arm video. I’ve watched tonnes of bodybuilding videos over the last few years, many of which are contest prep focused and it’s rare you see veins and detail everywhere in somebody’s physique, especially at 4 weeks out. You look leaner than some guys make it to stage. I’m guessing it’s just little of fat to come off from behind and you’re good to go?

Can’t believe how round and full you’ve stayed as well. Going to be fun seeing what you bring to the Cali show!

Phosphatidylserine, rhodiola rosea, holy basil, magnesium, are all worthy mentions for cortisol control.

Although nothing will beat reducing/avoiding stress, and stress management tools such as mindfulness and deep breathing, as well as adequate sleep!

You always want what you don’t have! That being said, given your goal for this year, I guess it’s a case of bringing the physique the judges are going to reward.

In the push video with Sas a little way back, Jordan does a quick MM pose at what I think is 297lb morning body weight. Probably the closest thing to pictures floating around.

Sas, I don’t tend to write a whole lot of compliments on here, just to try and stop detailing the thread with the inner fanboy, but I’m absolutely loving this thread and your latest Instagram posts. You have such a balanced, round and detailed physique; you really do deserve to go places.

I also really admire your approach, of taking more downtime when needed, and then pushing hard when it’s crunch time. You don’t see enough guys doing that, especially the ‘up and coming’ as it were. I also like that you’re happy to ignore what other people are doing and focus on just being the best version of yourself, it’s such a freeing feeling to be able to do that.

In regards to posing – how much do you practice as you come into a show?

Just to get a better insight sorry, what would be your approach to multiple shows Stefan?

Don’t worry Jordan, we’re all sure you’ll smash it!

    Jordan,

Sounds like a really sensible switch from low test and letro, to more test and a weaker and AI. At this stage of prep, I’m sure your priority is performance, otherwise you will get to your final couple of weeks having lost the muscle you worked hard to gain in offseason. I’ve seen letro take somebody from great physique to freaky, where It helped dry them out pre show, but strength took a complete nose dive, as did well being and joint health.

I’m curious how you would think about keeping your physique together between shows, if you needed to compete in several across this season? It seems like something that’s usually quite hard to do, as people either ‘fall of a cliff’ and really start to shrink where they’re already peeled and there’s little fat to come off at that stage and performance has dipped, or they find it difficult to keep the shredded and hard condition from show to show.

Appreciate it depends on how far apart shows are and how you looked at the first show, but what’s your usual principles for yourself/clients?

    Eymen
