    Jordan,

Just looked through your old prep log and you mentioned you were weighing just under 250lbs a week out from the show. Crazy to think you’ll be the same weight at 4-5 weeks out and with more muscle mass. Exciting for sure!

Do you think you may reach the desired condition a little early, or do you think there’s almost always more to come off?

Been interesting reading your blog during this prep. You start to appreciate how being peeled whilst maintaining a very large amount of muscle mass, is completely counterintuitive. Is fucking cool though!! Trying to be very lean with no emphasis on size is pretty easy… stop eating. Trying to be very lean while moving serious weight and being freaky big…. not so easy.

Sounds like you’re in a great place this far out thought, and you’ve got a wicked team in your corner!

    Hi Sas,

I’m close friends with Elliot and heard a lot of good things about you, so been awesome to see you in the videos and read your blog.

What’s your plans in terms of competing next year? I know you’re gunning for the O, but will you need to do a qualifier beforehand?

Reducing loading on legs sounds sensible Jordan, in that last training video you put up, you look really beat up and can tell you’re in a lot of pain. Last thing you want is a serious injury! Do you still get massage work done for your leg?

Awesome weight and calliper measurements, some are well below the 10mm target! Sounds like a really productive off season. Seems the start point massively dictated the end look, so I’m excited to follow your journey to the stage this time.

As a rough reference point, during your last prep, how did your calliper measurements change as you lost say 10lbs? What would you expect the measurements to be on somebody in great stage condition?

    Jordan,

How is the swelling in your trap now? (sounds like it’s on the mend). 180×8 incline is a pretty big jump up from last time given you’ve been cruising since!Sounds like you’re on for your old 190×5 all time PB.

    Ashley,

On Medicheck, there’s a health check you can order called ‘Well Man Check’. There’s a whole bunch of individual blood tests you can order, which are quite specific e.g. an activated B12 test and there’s also health checks which include a different panel of health markers like the ‘Well Man Check’. I’m assuming that’s the one that Jordan uses, but there’s plenty of options if you look at the Men’s Health section.

    Hi Jordan,

Enjoying the new content and looks like you’ve already started to hit PB’s at a lower body weight, which is really impressive.

Reading the first post of this thread, you mentioned that the plan was to keep gaining a lb a week over the coming 15 weeks. Once you start cruising in 2-3 weeks, does this mean you’ll still be trying to push up body weight? Will that bring any advantages if you can’t keep pushing strength up (or at least at a noticeably slower rate)?
