It’s essentially entirely up to you. It also does depend how high your calories are and where you want to place your carbs as it has no relevance to anything on a rest day apart from preference.

In this case where TD is 3600 I would set cals at 3100/3200 and make the majority of the drop from carbs and increase fats a touch to.

    Okay perfect, will do

I would defo be running a big growth phase from here bud – slow and steady aiming for 1lb a week until you hit 30-40lb or feel to fat and uncomfortable

    Tidy up and repeat

    Perfect, thankyou

Get back into a small surplus, aim to take your weight up by 45/50’lbs over 30/35 weeks

Then run a short tidy up if you need one once you complete that

How would I keep my composition in check pushing that much weight up? Wouldn’t I get quite fat pushing 1.5lb bw per week… thanks again I appreciate you getting back to me

At 17 years old, I say get into a surplus now and get growing. Take things steady and get as much as you can out of a long push up.

    Thankyou very much

Okay perfect, got up to 206lbs last push up and composition was blown so i pulled back to get appetite kicking again and now going to push up again but with a slower approach in hope to surpass this weight

For some background, I have just finished pulling back and now pushing back up again and this is a 500kcal increase from my diet food over the course of two weeks
