  • After the Arnold there are many shows I’d like to do to wrap up 2022 O qual before the year is out so I can have a long and over due offseason

    San Marino, Prague and Romania are all with in 6 weeks of one another and then there is still Toronto and even Paraguay late in the year ??

    Yeh rohm has been my go to for the last 2 years and never had any issues bar one bad batch of test e giving bad pip but if you are well connected with your source they are typically very quick to sort issues.

  • Morning guys

    Cleaned things up and brought training day carbs down to 600 with low days on rest days at 200 carb

    Bodyweight in the am has dropped to 301 which is nice to see some water come off

    I’m actually going on holiday to Croatia this Friday-Friday for a much needed family R&R

    When I’m home I’m 10 weeks out and many of you have been asking about my training split which has been 4 days
    Monday push
    Tuesday pull
    Thursday push
    Friday legs

    From 10 weeks out I’ll be adding a 5th day of hams and back iso to create more volume across a week for weak body parts and I’ll be travelling to ultra flex Rotherham to do this every Saturday am to take advantage of the array of back hit they have there ??

    Really looking forward to the Arnold to display my best yet and am very confident of doing that

  • Hey Jamie good to see you back at it! What’s the split looking like for this off season? You said in Fouad’s podcast you really enjoyed having only 4 training days in your program, you gonna keep that rolling?

    Well if you read the posts you know I’m not in off season just bridging between shows buddy ??

    Cycling carbs will give your insulin sensitivity the best chance of remaining high and potentially gaining less bodyfat considering output and input are correct.

    Lower carb rest days would be advantageous and an easy strategy to employ through your gaining phase ??

  • Finishing off this week feeling better in myself which lends well to next weeks training.

    Actually think 700g carb days are adding a little too much water quicker than I’d like so dropped in a low carb day.

    Jordan did suggest running 3 high and one low at 200 but I’ll check in with him Monday and see what he thinks to pulling high days down to 5-600.

    Gh went back in at 1 shot of 5iu which kicked my ass in terms of water retention so I think for me 2iu am and pm will be fine for this phase.

    Again will run by the boss on check in and go from there.

  • Today has ended up being an unplanned rest day.
    So training Monday was probably 75% capacity easing back in which still had me beat up by the end of the session.
    Yesterday was hams and back and knowing there my weakness I kind of went in full boat, a little silly on reflection off the back of a 9 day rest from the gym.
    So today literally felt like I’ve been ran over having a rest day yesterday with deep tissue work.
    Just kind of listening to the body optimising recovery now ready for the next phase of full blown prep in 2-4 weeks time.
    If I manage things well now then the body will respond a lot better in prep ??

    You will find most of us have changed our views towards ai use quite a lot in the sense that we will always opt to use nothing unless we get symptoms

    Aromasin can be brought in at 12.5 twice per week but the mast in this cycle should lower the need for any considerably

  • Thanks for sharing Jamie! I’m just curious – in past offseason phases, what’s the highest you’ve taken you taken your carbs for any appreciable amount of time (6 or 8 weeks or more)?

    I’ve ran 1000g carbs for 12-16 weeks

    I got fatter but we were just pushing bodyweight tbh
