Great video up on YouTube Jamie
I sat down to watch it last night and at the start when you are taking progress shots you were flaring your lats. My missus(who knows nothing about bodybuilding and cares even less than that) was walking past and comments ‘why does he have wings??’
Not sure she was aware how much of a compliment she gave you haha

Haha thank you that’s amazing. Thank your wife for me ????

Hey buddy you can definitely get stronger in cruise so stick with the log.
Just be mindful that recovery will be down regulated so I’d be mindful and drop volume by reducing overall sets and looking at removing intensifiers.
Regarding arimidex 0.5 m/w/f for 1-2 weeks then drop and you should be fine and will be good for cholesterol profile

    Session was

Single arm hammer row 1 set
Chest support high bar face pull row 1 rp x 3
Single arm preacher cable bicep curl 2 sets

Volume was low but deadlifts smashed me. It’s all about digging the whole but remembering to not bury yourself too deep ????????

Jamie, is it right in thinking that the Progressive style of training can give you a different “look”? like the pumps are different from say GVT (German Volume Training). Since switching a few months ago, i have noticed my strength has gone up massively (for me) but physically my arms and delts seem to look flatter – could they just need more volume at the end of the workout or do i just need to be patient?sorry if thats a silly question!

I wouldn’t say it gives it a different look buddy. Personally I feel pumps aren’t more down to your diet and bodies sensitivity.
What kind of phase are you in right now with your diet?

    in a recomp phase atm.
    I am following a
    Pull
    Push
    Off
    Legs
    Off
seen improvements in thickness/density across all but arms and delts seem to flattened off since switching to this style of training. does volume not rush more blood to the muscle so its filled out more?[/quote]
    Yes and No
Your volume should still facilitate pump.
Try adding another set or intensifier for each muscle group before adding a seperate day.
It may be literally down to a standpoint of nutrition going in being lower leading to less pump.

    Lying leg press 1 set
Seated leg curl triple drop set
    Adductor 1 set 3 rp
    Calfs standing 5×6 muscle round
    Abs cable crunch 2 sets

We decided not to change anything as condition is improving and the aim is to take advantage of the food for as long as possible. There’s still growing to be had ????????

Check in sent to Jordan yesterday morning. I was 2lb up but likely the cycle kicking in.
Definitely leaner than last pictures and starting to take shape.
This phase of the diet is always the worst in terms of how you look where your transitioning from that softer look and increasing sensitivity and hardness. Things just don’t feel great, pumps leave quickly and you can tell the bodies kinda warming up to it all.
I think another 3 weeks will show a big difference at around 315-17lb
Remember slow and steady wins the race!
