Paul – id find a new job!!
If any of my former bosses told me I couldn’t eat I’d have left or just found a way.
I’d be taking food or shakes to the toilet 😉
Seriously on my first point, this is your hobby but I imagine it makes you feel good about yourself too. From a welfare standpoint someone at work higher up should take your wishes into consideration.
Are people aloud fag breaks.
Only solution at the minute by the sounds of it is shakes.
Depending on goals and current stats would determine how those shakes were made up with regards to pro, carbs and fats. -
It’s push day tomorrow and @rebecca is coming over to film.
Question is do I attempt the 180lbs on incline press which I have never done before ????
I’ll ask Jordan for some tips on psyching yourself up after seeing his incline press yesterday which was fucking epic!!! -
Session was
Over hand grip hammer pull over machine
Trap bar deficits
Single arm hammer row standing
Wide arm neutral hand pull down
Smith shrug
Barbell curls
All sets today one work one back off???????? -
Today was pull day after a rest day yesterday.
Trap bar deadlifts were on the menu and I’ll be honest after seeing Corinne’s effort of 5 reps on 225kg I was worried, what a mental weight but the bosses are leading from the front as always ???????? -
Session was –
Glute bridge smith 1 work 1 BO
Seated leg curl single leg 1 work 1 BO
Smith Squat 1 work got 17 reps with 3 plates but really just testing out the back so we will add weight slowly on this and get the movement on lock.
Leg ext 1 triple drop
Lying ham 1 triple drop
Adductor 1 rest pause x 3
Done ???????? -
Leg day went down today and we brought an upright squat back in, something I’ve not touched for a long time due to my lower back.
Started with safety bar but 3 plates a side felt very awkward and twangy on the lower back so I switched to smiths which felt much better. -

Hey Jamie, big fan from the US and another taller bodybuilder as I’m 6’1. I’m just curious how or when you decide to cruise. I’m in a bit of a pickle as I do not know which way to go as in keep cutting or try to gain more tissue. I have had coaches in the past but have been doing this myself since August of 2018. Any advice would be awesome. Keep killing it.
Hey buddy cruising isn’t or shouldn’t be determined by your condition.
Imo opinion a plan must be set year round for things like growing phases and cutting phases or competitions.
I base my cruises around length of cycle and how I feel.
The aim really for me is to cycle for 20 weeks and cruise for 6-8
If I’m in prep I may end up on cycle a lot longer but this is managed between shows with lower doses also.
In terms of body composition and goals, these things shouldn’t be entirely governed by a cycle and from a health standpoint I’d prioritize length of cycle as your key marker ???????? -
Tbh when I first started doing RDL’s I hurt my left glute from over stretching and I rested for a few weeks then it was fine.
Just be mindful of range of motion and progress slowly, sounds like you’ve pulled a muscle or minor strain.Cheers Jamie
Going to try resting, but done a few tests and looking like piriformis syndrome!
Been deadlifting for about 12 years with no bother at all, think age is catching up haha! ????
Thinking switch to rack deads for awhile to try take my booty out the lift.
And do some glute strengthening exercises as I do sit all day with work [/quote]
Strengthening would help for sure but honestly sounds like what I’d done, I think you’re just going a tad too deep and block or rack pulls would negate that AFTER rest. -
On your muscle rounds do you still try and progress the movement or is it more of a put the bicep in as much pain as possible I find myself failing around 4th set in and only getting 5 reps then having to drop the weight for the final 2
I would suggest you’ve chive the wrong weight buddy. Set it a bit lower and aim to complete the entire muscle round with one weight then progress weight accordingly ????????

Also never add fibre through a supp or veg to post meals.
Or a lot of fat – nothing higher than 5-10g in post meal from direct fats
