Looking forward to the drop ???????? -
Rest day today and very much needed after 3 training days.
First rest day with carbs as well and I feel loads better 🙂
Hit a sauna and steam today and actually made a little time for myself for a change around work.
Tomorrow will be a good day, I’m going to look at a new car, will be sad to see my old shed of an Astra go haha
We have one nice car in the family but as we’re now both busy and on the road a lot I just can’t stick out being in the banger. Turning up for meetings in that isn’t cool haha -
Hello mateAll caught up on the log now. As usual, interesting stuff all round – there is no doubt that you are making this offseason count. You’re being so meticulous with your offseason akin to prep and leaving nothing to chance. In years gone by, did you treat the offseason as an excuse to ease off a bit and eat a lot more junk (I’m bulkin’ brah, need the calories) as well as easing off the training intensity? On the back of that, I’ve read several articles in the past where once calories get to a certain point it is near on impossible to push on with just clean foods and a certain amount of junk food may be required to get the intake in. Do you agree with this? The seminar looked amazing and no surprise you were trashed the following day. Lesson learned for next time. Imagine having a Mr Olympia’s schedule!? Trying to fit your training in and racking up the air miles.Good luck with the filming today.

Instagram: samking104Hey buddy thanks for the comments. This is definitely the first time I have ever been this meticulous in an off season for sure and I believe many people, as I have before just use it as a big ass excuse to go off plan.
I don’t believe you ever need to push junk food to get calories in. Food is for purpose right and their are 1000% better food choices. We add calories through carbs mostly and then at a point start adding in calories from fat to pack out calories. Be careful to not slow digestion down too much here.
There is a place at a point to add in dense calories from easy to consume items when food is really high like cookies and muffins but typically around training and these are minority items to the bulk of our diets.
Hope that helps pal.Being meticulous is paying off for sure! Yup – always an excuse. You look at Big Ron when decided to tighten up his diet for the 2003 Mr Olympia – completely new physique within the space of a year. Still don’t know how he got away with cornbread and bbq sauce so close to a show. Testament to his hard work ethic and sheer mass needing the calories.
Exactly – I think people using junk to meet their calorie demands are just being lazy with their nutrition quite often. As you’ve said, too much junk would mess up anyone’s digestion and I still maintain what you put into your body will reflect in your physique. Quality fuel = quality training and the foundations to progress yourself. People often think the meal they eat that day will affect their physique and when they wake up the next day realising they’re not fat, they carry on. It’s in several weeks that you will see the effect of your diet. Whether that’s for the better or worse, that’s down to you.
Definitely agree with you moving the hack squat further in the training session as everything feels more primed and you’ve greased the grooves (the working muscles, hips and knees). Same with barbell squats if I choose to include them. However, find starting with the leg press alright after doing some hams. An interesting setup you have above though, almost of a Kai Greene standard although you didn’t start with 45 mins on the Stepmill, 30 mins of abs and after 3 hours of working out, ending on squats._________________________________________

You got it buddy quality in, quality out for sure.
Good luck in your pursuit of your perfect physique man ???????? -
Hi Jamie,
So I know you and the team preach get the most out of the least possible in terms of AAS but my question is what was your first cycle and if you could go back, would you do anything different?
Cheers big man!Good question I started on 1ml of a rip blend 200 3 x per week.
Per ml was something like
70mg test prop
70mg mast p
60mg tren ace
So total 600mg per week
Had phenomenal results tbf but knowing what I know now I wouldn’t have started with tren first cycle haha
I’d do small dose test only and build from there. -
Reason for putting hacks and leg press 3rd and 4th in?
It gets all the muscles we want working firing before compounds
Fills the legs with blood to cause even more facia stretch in heavy movements
It’s harder so more training intensity generated
Safer due to being really warmed up
Give it a go ???????? -
Leg workout filmed by Jay Magic Eye Media which I know will be a banger!
Plenty of take homes and hardcore training as always ????????
Session was –
Glute bridge
Ham curl lying
Leg ext
Hack squat
Leg press
Seated ham
Calf standing
Absolute right off ???????? -
Those of you who follow me on insta will know I got my ass out of bed this am and hit the road for a morning walk.
One thing I would say about off season is it’s easy to become lazy, skip cardio in the belief that reducing output will create a calorie surplus for growth.
This in fact has a knock on effect to appetite and digestion so ultimately you can eat and process less food.
Also I find general energy and productivity is really down graded when I stay in bed till 8am and get my first meal straight in.
So cardio for the win EVERYDAY Pre meal 1 guy and girls! -

Looking good at 315lb Jamie!
Is this the leanest you’ve been at that weight whilst pushing weight up?
If so I take it that’s because your being more meticulous with diet?
I would of done the muscle camp if I wasn’t competing mate, will keep an eye out for future ones, I’m sure Dennis will be up for it too_________________________________________

Hey Jay congratulations on your competition buddy, awesome result man.
Your bang on, my heaviest and cleanest off season so far just because I’m literally treating it like a prep.
I have many driving factors but being in the site and having Jordan and Corinne guide me is definitely a huge one in keeping me dead on track.
Enjoying the process buddy ????[/quote]
Thank you mate, I was certainly over the moon coming away with the win on my first competition.
Already planning the next one for June, got Corinne in my corner so should be fine lol
It’ll be good to see you on stage next year bud ????????_________________________________________

Your in very safe hands buddy 🙂 -
Ah Josh it’s clicked who you are, honestly buddy, I know you said last time gyno was from teenage puberty etc but you really need to get that operated on before you will be competitive. Seek some professional advice and get that sorted so you can be your best and not get marked down for it buddy 😉
-
If you want to be competitive and you doubt you will be, don’t do it. You had stage time this year already which you can take a lot away from, reflect, manage health and have a good off season to make improvements.
If your burnt your body will fight you, and if classic is what you ultimately want, burn the shorts 😉
Good luck with your decision buddy.
Maybe throw some pictures up for an honest opinion as theres always the chance of you completely under estimating yourself and having prep brain, we all been their man. -
