Show wise for 2020 I know the british is May and I believe the big man weekend is May maybe late April and I’d definitely be very keen to do both ????????
-
Well that was an experience, out by 4pm and eating pizza by half 9 haha
I’ve not got it in me like I did in my 20’s that’s for sure.
It was nice to let my hair down but man it’s not my scene anymore. Tomorrow is back to full routine and training and I’ll aim to get bloods tested Friday once the liver had recovered from last nights alcohol 😉
There really is no place for this now every aspect of what I do will be centered around progressing as much as possible for next year.

This is new territory for me – if you watch my IG today anything could happen lol
I’m out out for my birthday, something which hasn’t happened in a long time.
This will be the last phase of my off period before I get back in the gym on Tuesday, body and mind feel well and truely ready to PUSH now.
Plans in motion for next push soon to be unveiled ????????

I totally understand your “focused” traveling mindset my man.
My wife leaannnnns hard into me to “relax” as well. Im just easing into a nice little offseason and its very difficult for me to break the routine. I thrive off of the same stuff…the same food, the same gym with the same kit (documenting progress), the same thing day in and day out. SHE JUUUST booked a long weekend lake trip (3 days) for Labor Day (US holiday) and it stresses me out. I try to relax myself by reminding myself we’ll be with friends and family but I also know that I will have to pack food and supplements and find a decent gym to hit while im there. Vacations are very difficult for me.
I flew to Prague a couple years back for a work trip…was there 11 days! Ugh!
Almost impossible. I basically ate only meat and potatoes and walked 2 miles every morning (before work) to get to a gym just to lift.
My work colleagues thought i was crazy. The older I get, the more understanding I get. I am not on a Pro level like you, but I take my training, physique and progress very seriously. But i do realize that the memories i make will be awesome. It’s tough so i commend you for even describing the journey on here buddy.
Ah thank you buddy, I admire and commend your dedication to this lifestyle!
It’s something that not many people have the capacity and discipline to manage so kudos to you for kicking ass.
I am very fortunate to be able to be on this platform and have the ability to reach so many guys that are in love with the same things as me.
All the best for 2019 and beyond my friend and thank you for following my journey so far.
It will be an exciting next few years I know that much ???? -

So some thoughts over the last few days and making note of my last post about the poor food inTurkey.
You know me, I like to be positive and always try and see the glass half full.
So analysing my last post and knowing how today’s culture is particularly fuelled by a social media driven society I think it’s a lot easier to be negative towards something or somebody.
How many times do you find yourself critiquing someone’s post on Instagram against actually praising them on the look and hard work.
I’d guess for most the answer would lean toward the negative.
I’ve come away on holiday and moaned about the food, MAN you know I like my food and it’s importanter for my muscles haha BUT some people don’t even get a holiday and some people don’t even have the chance to eat.
The last few times I’ve seen homeless people I’ve actually been to the shop and bought them a meal deal because another thing I think people can do far to easily is judge others far too easily.
So next time you moan and this is a prompt for me too, just take a moment to think what you have actually got, take in the surroundings around you, look what you’ve built and stop thinking and moaning about the things you haven’t got, yet
I take the view that there’s always someone worse off and we should be very thankful for the position we’re in.
So I consider my hand slapped for moaning and will make a conscious effort to remember what’s above
Life’s what you make it guys – stay positive
Completely agree with this. it’s so easy to look at the negatives and not focus on the positives especially with the social media. This is something I am trying to change within myself massively as I have always had a negative outlook on things and its impacted massively on my mental health.
looks like you’ve had a wicked holiday, enjoy the last bit of Sun ????

Food at the hotel isn’t the best, it’s a case of get 5 plates and eat what you can. Each night is like a taster menu on our table haha.
Hope the UK and where ever you are is treating you well ???????????? -
Being away it seems timely to make a post on finding it hard to take time out.
My wife had to pretty much force me to book this holiday last minute and I only did it because I was in a cruise and it would impact my progress or be mid cycle.
Truth is I really struggle to take time away from the gym and my planned routine. Even more so now as a pro as the pressure to progress and perform is even higher. That’s also heightened with the responsibilities and expectations I place on myself being on the JP team and also setting a good example to clients and people who follow me.
Truth is I put myself under a lot of pressure and find it hard to relax.
What we must do is remind ourselves that rest is so beneficial to progression and we can not push push push without regressing, getting injured or just stalling altogether.
So don’t just plan on your push phases but factor in when’s best to recover and if you need to work that around kids and family then so be it do just that, PLAN. A man with a plan makes the best progress and if I have a plan I know I’m a lot more at ease with life.
Less stress = more progress:-)
After this break I’ll blast till Xmas then that will be a perfect time for another weeks rest but that will be a deload not a complete week off ready to push into contest prep ????Kill this week guys, progress and don’t neglect your rest ????????
Rest, recharge and enjoy the time away you big kunt! [/quote]
Haha thanks bud -
