Morning Jamie,
Have you ever tried a training style of just completely going of ‘feel’ – just getting in and doing as much as you possibly can until you feel pretty dam stimulated? if so – do you think you made progression doing so? IF not… are you ever tempted to just go in and just lift until the lights go out! lol
Yes buddy this is how I trained all my life up till this year so I certainly made progress but the big question is would I have made much more training for progressive overload?
I believe that to be a massive yes!
The way I train now and understand training and recovery along with constantly causing my body to adapt and grow certainly makes me feel like I lost time and muscle in the years prior.
But live and learn buddy, change, adapt and grow ????????

Personally I wouldn’t back off now you’ve reached they dose I’d keep the same till 2 weeks out then taper down so it doesn’t effect fullness. 25MCG 2 weeks out then 12.5 1 out will be fine.
Look at t4 only 50mcg Pre bed needed. And look to increase deficit through out put or diet.Pictures would help as Haider said.

hey Jamie
you mentioned the general bro rule of 10g carbs per I.u of insulin, but for you personally you find 6g per I.u. to be more accurate.
my question is, why don’t people just consume 10g carbs per I.u. If it’s a good safely net? Is there a reason you look to tweak it more towards 6g per I.u? is this performance related, or does consuming more grams of carbs per I.u. of insulin needed make the body more prone to storing fat?
Thanks
I was making reference to the safe limits not how much I personally use. I never match my insulin iu to carb in take – for example if I were to consume 200g carb pwo I wouldn’t have 20iu insulin. I have half that amount – 10iu just to facilitate nutrient transport and lower bg quicker.
It’s not going to do all the work, it’s a tool.

Thanks bud my plan is tan, chill and eat haha -
Legs feel pretty best from Tuesday’s session.
Can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to this rest.
Sometimes guys a rest is just what you need to move forward. As you move through your training career pay close attention to how your body feels and relate that to your performance and you’ll be able to tweak volume and rest to ensure the best recovery and chances of progression 🙂

Need to see current condition photos for better analysis and feedback ????????

I would say any plan for the first time of being regimented and in more of a routine is a good thing.
From here you can adapt and change.
If body fat loss is the main goal then time your carbs wisely at times of high activity as Tim said. This is around training and if you have an active job.
Track your progress week to week. If weight drops and you look better don’t change anything.
If things stick the do one thing at a time – increase cardio one week, reduce Cal’s then next, don’t do it all at once ????????????

Hello sir,
just saw your video on your thoughts on insulin and have a few questions because this topic is so interesting and i like to know what a guy like you think about it!!! thank you in advance for your time!
First question is, have you now days were you use more insulin than 10-15 iu, just maybe to push some more blood, or got better recovery?
Do you have a rule, how much carbohydrates you need for 1 IU insulin? i heard about a rule like 1 IU insulin is like 10g of “Sugar” ?
How long before train you pin your fast acting insulin? 40 minutes before training and immedently the preWo with fast carbs? or how do you handle it?
How long before and after do you cut out the fat in the meals when you use insulin?
Thank you sir!
At present 10iu Pre and post is more than sufficient to cover a hypo.
10g of carbs per iu of insulin is general BB bro science rule but I believe 6g per iu is more accurate.
10g value is a safety net to over cover us but these two values still are largely predicted by the individuals sensitivity, lean body mass and how fast they metabolism carbs.
Don’t just have simple carbs mix with complex also for a more sustained release.
You can do it 10 mins post Pre meal or just before training it doesn’t really matter. I some times half my 10iu to 5iu post meal and 5iu Pre training for faster transport of Pre meal.
Post shot is directly before meal.
Hope this helps.

Hi Giant
When its the right time/moment to add Insuline to your stack? When do you introduce insuline to your clients ? Nowadays i hear a lot of people are using insuline only Around the training window
I personally have ever used it around the training window buddy and until I try otherwise I won’t advocate it with clients.
If your at a competitive level and have done a few shows with at least 5 years of training and a high level of understanding for macros and nutrient timing I’d go in low Pre workout first off as said in the video.
Post workout can be added later but remember carbs are needed available in the system for up to 5 hours post shot so the post meal and the next meal should include carbs.
