Insulin should be looked at as a way to deliver nutrients more efficiently and used in the correct quantities will ensure less fat accumulation. This is determined by many factors however and not a short question to answer.
In short, using around training can prove very effective for utilizing nutrients Pre and post training.

MemberAugust 1, 2019 at 6:53 pm in reply to: insulin to build muscle mass and lose fatHey, just a question in regards to your PREWO slin use, lets say Im having a meal of carbs around 90 mins pre gym and a Intra of 25G carbs, would it be anymore beneficial to take slin JUST before working out oppose to taking it with the meal 90 mins out? Using fast acting so peak within 1 hr and last 2-4 hours, essentially would miss the peak during training.

So pull day today by my old self.
I have to say, if there was one session that seems to be laggin a bit now on this cruise it’s pull, probably my weakest area anyway and just like your physique in a diet phase your weaknesses always flatten off first haha.
It was a good session all the same with some new exercises which I recorded on my Instagram.
2 more weeks – check bloods – get the ok – BLAST OFF!!!!

Hey giant.! When i do my back off set in rdl, after det ext it feel like my lowerback explode so much blood in, it all most hurts Extreme pumped it not a good sign? And after that i Can almost not do a seated row with good loaded weight on!????
Lower back pumps are common in certain stages of prep or if your using particular compound like dbol or anadrol which induce pumps and water retention.
Rebounding from
Competition or being very lean and sensitive to carbohydrates can induce crazy pumps.Do any of these fit you and do you suffer wit back pumps on any other exercises?

Depending on length and severity of cardio would determine the detriment to your session and it’s results how ever I’d always aim to separate the two.
As far as leg day I would say 5 minutes on the bike to warm the knees and flush some blood wouldn’t hurt but I wouldn’t class this as cardio ????????
I sometimes choose leg day as a day to take
Off cardio as your likely to burn more calories that day anyway ???????? -

Push day was really good today. So far 2.5 weeks into this cruise I feel great, weight and strength is maintaining and I feel healthy too which are all great signs that when we push again things are gonna get interesting ????
Today’s push was shoulder focused with the first exercise being:
Atlantis lat raise machine
Atlantis shoulder press machine
Hammer strength incline press pin load machine
Prime press for triceps
Pec dec
Prime lat raise
Cable front raise
Tricep rope push down
Tricep single arm rope pull downAll sets 5-9 10-15

Thanks for your response on this a few weeks back, a kick up the arse to keep grinding was what I’ve needed and it’s coming off nicely with the staggered does approach.
I have another question for you, after my event I’ve booked a last minute holiday to Ibiza where I’ll probably taking some recreational drugs, just conscience that clen already raises your heart rate as it is, and with the added stress of other compounds in the body it could be a recipe for a heart attack haha. With this in mind should I look to come off Clen before I go? Or just come right down to 20mcg before I go?

Hey buddy, I would definitely come off the clen 1 week Pre Ibiza.
Have you got a blood pressure and pulse monitor? I’d check mine once every couple of days just to monitor how these things are effected by your clen cycle and monitor what happens when you come off.

Either is a good choice buddy, personally I go with dynamite iso 100 all the time as I just have confidence with the quality and digestibility.
If you have a brand that you trust concentrate would be fine.

Rest day today getting ready for push at Rotherham with Kuba tomorrow.
Aim is still to maintain strength through cruise which is very much the case with some progression on lifts at the minute ????

You were verging hypo buddy COCOPOPS digest very quickly with a high sugar content, what was your reason for checking 15-20 mins after??
I’d be more concerned what it is 1-2 hours after when your bodies had time to process and adjust.
A sharp spike like this is expected from a high glycemic food like cereal. I don’t understand what your worrying about here sorry bud.

Leg day went down at the Giants lair today Ilkeston gym.
2 weeks in to cruise but still pb’d hack squat.
Knees feel shot after walking a lot in London at the weekend. Left knee in particular aggravated by the long drive also.
A cold bath to assist inflammation, CBD rub and cure-coming has been done to hopefully assist pain relief.
Session went –
Lying ham curl
Hack
Seated single leg
Sissy squat in smith machine
Couldn’t do leg ext – knees
Hyper extension
Adductor machine
All exercises 5-9 10-15 back off -
