Having a low carb day here would certainly assist a healthy relationship with your blood sugar and keep insulin sensitivity high leading to increased nutrient uptake and less body fat accumulation.
I would get calories from protein and fat in all meals but your last and use that as one meal to have an influx of carbs for the following days activities. This meal can contain protein, carbs and fats.Typical meals I would opt for only 2 macros unless fat was needed to slow absorption.

I definitely think it plays a beneficial role in blood flow, recovery and removal of toxins. I have to have my weekly sports massage and can’t live without it. I know it’s an extra expense but I would recommend one every two weeks as a minimum .

Jamie, if during your training cycle you decided to deload for awhile, meaning 10 days to 2 weeks, do you ever lower dosages at that time, or is the only time you lower dosages is during your cruise for 6 weeks.
Hey buddy I’d typically only deload for one week and I’d only ever lower dosages whilst on cruise.
Think about it, your cycle facilitates recovery, why would you lower it when you deload when the main objective is recovery? -
As Ryan said I would have employed a good coach from day dot to tell me the right way to do things. Invest in myself and my learning earlier by visiting seminars.
Make food a priority and track macros a lot sooner! Food didn’t get nailed for a long time with me and this is the foundation of everything else!
I started low on cycles but increased and got greedy quick. I would have prioritized progression in all aspects before moving doses up.
There are plenty of mistakes to make in this sport but there is so much great help out there now too, this site is setting the precedence for the future generation of body builders ????????
If only it was around when I was 18 ????

Today was push and strength was good, put some good numbers in the book over at Ultra Flex with Kuba and Jimmy ????????
Rest day tomorrow and off to London with the family. Will make a nice day off and different from the norm ????

Very happy a nearly 2 weeks in to cruise and I’ve dropped 4lb this week but believe this to be water loss from the heat.

I would definitely recommend based on an insulin sensitivity and digestion break aspect.
As long as protein is kept high, that will facilitate recovery and growth whilst fats can be utilised for energy rather than carbs ????????

Rest day in the garden today. It’s not getting any cooler but all meals went in.
Had to have two omelettes today made from 7 whole eggs. I don’t these easy to eat if you refrigerate after cooking.
Give it a try. Most importantly today I got a good amount of rest in ????????
A rest day should include just that! Even if we have a day off the gym sometimes we forget or simply fail to have adequate rest.
Take a moment to analyse how your rest ????????

Try organic chicken stock, cook the meat and simmer in 100-150ml for last 3-5 mins
Lock in some moisture ????

Legs went off at ultraflex today.
If anything with the heat I noticed the stamina wasn’t there but still pushed on and beat the log book on pendulum and leg press!
Very happy with how the cruise is going a week n a half in and looking forward to getting things checked out so we can plan next push ????

Hi mate, do you weigh your food raw or cooked?
Raw buddy! The only way imo you should weigh your food! Too many variables will change cooked weight protein and carbs.
