I usually have oats pre for slower release of energy and cor post as very quick and easy to digest
Cor if you are eating 1 hour prior to training but I have oats 1.5 pre

MemberJune 4, 2021 at 7:32 pm in reply to: Private: Giant’s Quest for 2021 Olympia QualificationWell what a day
Had the honour of training at CoJo’s and posing in front of Corinne and Jordan
Great push session with Jordan filmed by Jay for the site and blown away by the guys comments/feedback when I posed for them
We have made the decision to stop using scales till the end of prep so our thought process isn’t clouded by numbers and purely visuals and physical feedback
New and Unchartered territory but seeing how happy they were with where I’m at and the conversation we had about where this prep could go has left me all in ready to do what ever to get in the absolute shape of my life
We are going to get inside out shredded then fill this frame and really give them something to look at in 3 weeks time
Watch this space ??

MemberJune 4, 2021 at 7:00 pm in reply to: Private: Giant’s Quest for 2021 Olympia QualificationWoke up at prep low 289 after a week of pushing
Perfect timing as I see Jordan in person today
Travelled to Cheltenham last night to stop in an air bnb so I can prepare for the session today with no early travel drama
One meal in, pre meal goes in at 9 and then we hit push at 10.30
Let’s get it ??
Enjoy! Will this be being filmed for the site or your YT? Thanks [/quote]

MemberJune 1, 2021 at 5:48 pm in reply to: Private: Giant’s Quest for 2021 Olympia QualificationFor me the challenge is and always will be the balance between fullness and condition.
It is for everyone but for me more so being so tall it’s vital that balance is perfect. Too lean and I’m gonna look small next to the bigger thicker, shorter pros. Too full I won’t have the mass or the lines to hang with the top 6 guys.
A lean and full giant around 300 spells trouble for people and I honestly feel that this year being more well known on the circuit will hold a lot more weight than last year.
Puerto Rico is shaping up to be a right battle with a growing line up of great pros.
I know this will be the best look to date then we have 3 weeks to perfect for Portugal and then another 3-4 till Spain ??

MemberJune 1, 2021 at 5:42 pm in reply to: Private: Giant’s Quest for 2021 Olympia QualificationWoke at 296 again today, weight held but not surprising after the influx of sodium and then training yesterday would have helped activate those carbs some what.
Great pull session today. Likely down a few lb tomorrow which is a rest day.
Really enjoying the prep for this comp and just want to get inside out now ??

I agree and feel that if you simply changed your exercise selection you’d feel Dom’s again much like if you had a whole week off and went back in balls deep

Only if I have dairy so I just avoid although ice cream is my guilty pleasure haha
I save the ice cream till last meal so I can go to bed and let it settle
Stomach is fine on wake

The only way to find out buddy is to try. You may find more counter productive with more sides likely from water retention
2&2 or 3&3 are pretty safe bets and nice realms to work in imo
