• YESTERDAYS PUSH WORKOUT AND TODAYS INSTA REEL FOR ANYONE WANTING TO TRY

• Morning guys

Busy weekend helping my mum move some furniture and me and the wife actually managed to get out to do some shoppings, picked up my new wedding ring and we went to the pub for a sit down drink and meal which was really nice to do as we haven’t been able to do it in so long.

Just a sense of normality being back is so good!!

As for prep ive dropped a fair bit of weight recently as things start to progress really well so I woke at 301 Sunday and decided to go with a small refeed. At this point 12 weeks out of prep it’s a little more flexible opting for off plan meals over high days. I’m not one of these athletes that’s scared to eat as you can probably tell but me and Jordan know my body so well now that we understand a huge influx of calories from any source, typically pizza 😉 will have a great effect.

So this am weight is up to 306 which we will drop off come Thursday and likely be 300 by Friday 1lb down over the week.

Let’s see ??

• Back in the mixer today – push day coming up. See what numbers are like. They were a little down Monday but I was a little fried from a very emotional weekend and feeling more myself so let’s see how it goes today ??

How does your chest focus session differ from your delt focus even tho your hitting chest twice in three days
Basically just more chest or more delt ?
On chest focus we have 3 primary chest compound 1 chest iso 1 delt Iso
Shoulder day we have 1 primary chest compound 1 delt compound then 2 delt iso and 1 chest iso ??
When will we see your new YouTube video that was filmed last week
It will be out this week

Hey Leo

I feel bent over rows can be a good addition to back day but throwing your ego away and being honest with execution is key here.

Upper and mid back will be hit primarily but most people treat the exercise as a modified shrug ??

Imo there are better machine based chest supported exercises you can do to load the back and keep strict form/focus with target muscle.

The main benefit for me would be that getting strong in a fixed hip hinge will actually help progress your other hip hinge deadlift exercises.

Above all else it’s a matter of trying them out and seeing how they feel for you as they might feel amazing but may also feel trash.

Good luck man.

Sounds like you need to trim atleast 10% off that bodyfat reading buddy but as Jimmy said we need photos although advice is pretty clear on your bf assessment.

How are you measuring bf?

• Normal rest day today, excited for the warzone map update but the servers are so jammed I can’t even get online ??

Gh seeing as it’s off season and the goal is to scale good up. Tren will impact appetite and digestion and that’s all you need to know to discard it in any off season unless it’s a tidy up phase to recomp a little quicker maybe.

• Yesterday was a really hard session, some numbers were down on top lifts and it could only have been down to the mental aspect of lifting. Crazy really as my dumbells were down 5 reps on 150lb from 15 to 10.
Anyway, I got myself back in the gym and a bug hurdle overcome as Babbs was the gym dog and the gym is full of her memories.
Any apologies, I’ll be back to talking about BB soon but I’m just documenting how I’m feeling on here I guess.

• Been such a crazy few days and still not sunk in, Friday we had to say bye to Babbs our first amazing French bulldog, only 4 and a half years old.
She was such a wonderful animal and much more than just a dog which fellow pet lovers will understand.
She’s left a huge void in our lives and I guess only time can close that although I know it will never fully close.
Strangely enough it’s felt good to feel human and feel emotion when all we do as bodybuilders is try and close off our emotions in the robotic nature of this life.
I’m back in the gym tomorrow and 13 weeks out from my first contest of the year. Going to be very strange and upsetting going back into my gym where we shared so many memories but I have a job to do and will do it surrounded by her memories that’s for sure ?❤️??

• Sorry to hear about your loss Jamie! Losing the furry friends always hits the hardest. Hope you feel better soon!!

Thank you buddy
