    Legs are smashed from yesterday.
    Sessions are in full flow right now and Me and Josh are pushing each other hard. It’s a very healthy competition and think we will be a great addition to each other’s prep this year.
    We did have a little laugh yesterday at how intense the sessions already are and it’s only the start of this training cycle. Where they go from here is really quite daunting ??

    Finished up an epic week of training. First one I’d say I’ve pushed 100% and it shows in bodyweight and look for sure.
    23 weeks till first contest, no time to waste at all.
    Funny story as well, I thought my meals were taking me longer to eat, the wife cooks 2 of my meals each day and we found out today our food scales have been broke and I’ve been having nearly twice the amount of food in those meals every fucking day ??

    Hey buddy, thanks for the livestream yesterday, have watched it back ahain today. Just hoping for some further clarity around setting up the diet if you’d be so kind? Foing back to the direct/indirect sources, if using the TBJP macro planner as a starting point, would these be the direct numbers to hit? Obviously then the totals for the day would be much higher after plugging it into MFP as all indirect sources are also counted. I guess thats why you eat the same thing every day too coz otherwise depending on food sources (eg how lean your meat is, if you have a lot of combined pro/carb sources like milk etc) then your daily totals can be massively different! Do you have any clients that follow a more flexible approach? And if so domyou find it easier just to set total macro targets for the dy knowing they will use mixed food sources and different ones each day? Cheers bro thanks for adding so much value to the UK aspiring BBers!

    Hey Richie I’ve just put my digits into the diet planner for you for reference and they came out what I’d say is direct sources only. For carbs and fats 100% although protein was 500 for me so that could be deemed high and include indirect but for yourself aiming for 1.5g per lb bodyweight is minimum start point and increase that as you see fit.
    Tbh nearly all my guys follow a set plan day to day as it simple works best allround for mindset and results. It’s a small mental hurdle to get over but it’s worth it. If you are mixing and matching day to day the rules still apply that you need to be sure it digests well and fits your macros so you will be limited to good solid clean foods.

    Agree with above comments here. Fats are essential for metabolism and performance. All 3 macros ideally want to be present to a certain quantity for your body to be happy enough to agree to your punishment ??

    So I’d say I’ve never been at the front of the pack regarding bodybuilding rankings as an amateur and definitely as a pro
    As an amateur starting out I started right near the back with my tall lanky frame with wide gaps in need of filling
    So I was thinking what aloud me to overtake a lot of the people that were miles in front of me??
    I chased them down and left them in the rear view
    I think it’s a simple case of who is willing to be the most consistent and adhere to the lifestyle. Some people just can’t and some people just don’t want to
    So for everyone out there chasing the message today is to stick with it, be dedicated and consistent and you will keep moving in the right direction and leave many people in the rear view ??

    Back in today for push and it was my fave day of the week as we attacked the incline BB press.
    155 for 6 today which I’ll take. I’ll be at 180 for 6 by the end of feb mark my words ??

    Hi Jamie, from a diet plan Jordan wrote for me and the macro calculator within the app, they state to only have fats and protein for first and last meal. How come you don’t follow this yourself? Just interested ?

    Everyone is different buddy. What level would you class yourself as beginner inter or advanced? How much lean muscle mass do you carry. For how many years have you followed a regimented diet plan and BB lifestyle. Do you take PEDS and how hard do you train. Diets are not black and white A’s and B’s buddy. The diet planner is a guide on gen pop ??
