Trained legs today. It’s getting very exciting now as we creep closer to a week out.
I feel really good tbh. Very flat in morning pics from the back so have zero pop and everything’s abit loose.
High day is planned tomorrow for 1000g carbs across 6 meals so come Friday/Saturday we should see a truer reflection of what’s going on in terms of how the end look will be.

If I’m Totally honest looking back I would have chose to push a little sooner
I feel where I’m at now is great but being a few weeks ahead of here would be even betterThis, for me, is a key point over any debate about a coach. And I stress, no disrespect to any coach. Ultimately, you knew your own body; you felt it deep down and I wonder what you would have done had you been working alone.
I guess the point is that another person can never really know your body in terms of how it feels at any given moment. The sign of a decent coach I guess is someone who is able/willing to listen to their clients and react to what they are being told instead of simply telling them to follow the plan regardless.I did buy the kids a big dominos tonight tho so I still have a heart beat haha
The last few times I competed, deep into prep, I used to do ‘treat night’ for my kids, getting them pizza and sweets/chocolate etc as we watched a movie. It was like some kind of additional torture that I wanted to put myself through. Clearly wasn’t suffering enough.

Hey Gary agreed man, that’s why I’m happy with Jordan he listens to what I have to say. He’s definitely not leading a dictatorship here and very much welcome to ideas. Honestly this was just a little bit of stress, prep brain and us both feeling pressure of the pro debut to be the best. We don’t know what the best version is yet but inherently I knew I needed to be leaner so after a chat with Jordan it was mission push ?? -

I love the bike but if I were to invest I’d get a good assault bike or better still a watt bike ?

Tried to be a little more active tbh
Big big push now for the pro debut
This show means so much to me as you only get one pro debut EVER and I want it to be a show to remember for all the right reasons and that means leaving nothing to chance in terms of getting myself in the very best shape possible
I still feel that 4 weeks after I can be even better at the British so absolutely no dramas there

Family life is definitely taking the back seat now for sure, sex drive is zero, the kids I am quite happy for them to be entertained and out my hair as harsh as that is but I’m my own best friend right now and just need the head down with full focus at the job in hand

Little update on a few things
So this prep as I’ve documented has been very relaxed and I’ve found it extremely easy…….too easy in fact
I’ve said that you need to suffer to get in true stage condition and the changes I’ve made recently have done just that and things are changing fast
A few little things that I’m doing now that are making a big difference if not physically, mentally for sure are below.
No more diet soda – used to have one with meal 5 every day
Getting up early and prioritizing getting the job done over a little extra sleep
Moving more ??

Rest day nearly ticked off and feeling good
Face is drawing in by the hour which I just have to see deep in prep to feel like I’m hitting condition……this isn’t optional……it’s an absolute MUST!!

I’m a lot happier today having pushed hard for 6 days with the primary goal for fat loss
To get in true stage condition you have to push flat and finding and timing that is a work of art
We have been tinkering with fullness all prep staying around the 300lb mark which has worked wonders for the look but the back just wasn’t playing ball fast enough
Needless to say some easy changes with input and output have made huge changes dropping 7lbs in 6days and looking 2 weeks worth of changes different
High carb meal going in tonight so we will assess the look in the am

I am currently battling with some digestive issues such as bloating and gas, will I still absorb all the calories of my Food despite being bloated and having gas after eating ?

I would try and get to the bottom of your issue
Don’t drink fluids directly with meals and eliminate foods one by one
Most common cause is change of whey powder and using cheap ones
Isolated sit much better
Are calories high
How’s sleep and stress
Are you on orals
