Rest day yesterday guys nothing really to report.
Me and Jordan said this weekend would be a perfect time to take a little extra rest 6 weeks out so I’m having 2 days rest here where I’ll just skip out the arm day today and be back in for legs tomorrow.
This is so I’m fresh for the final push.
I’ll most likely stick with half the volume in my leg session as well which will then lead into another rest day before attacking the full volume normal plan back on push next week.
I’ve learnt this last year that knowing when to pull back as well as push is vital for your progress.
Learn your body, study your log book and take rest when needed ?

Definitely something I’ve always struggled with is knowing when to pull back… that mentality of always thinking you need and want to do more is so detrimental at certain times…
Unfortunately buddy the quicker you learn that less of often more in BB the better man ??

This is how I take mine buddy

Rest my phone on my dustbin leaning against a cup ??‍♂️ you want your lens just about Above waist line for a well proportioned image between upper and lower body

Outside but no direct sunlight on your body, an area fully shaded is best

Use back camera not selfie front cam

Fasted on waking

Nothing crazy in the background, no mess etc a black sheet or plane background or just something solid like a wall is best

That’s about bud hope it helps ??

Great day spent in Windermere yesterday for my bday.
For those of you that don’t know, that’s in the Lake District of the UK and is one of the countries land mark destinations.
Our hotel room has a bath the size of a jacuzzi which obviously got used.
Walking round was funny, bodybuilder on tour is beginning to get more and more crazy the bigger I get. I don’t tend to notice much as I think it’s rude to stare so I keep myself to myself and look at what’s around me instead of other people lol true story.
Was rocking the new jp clobber so it was probably just that ?

I’d do 20 mins daily tho buddy, no need to take a day off. Stay in your routine, your body will thank you for it.

Be consistent with diet all week at 2400/2600 and step cardio back to 20 mins
Start there and push up when needed 😉

Turned 35 today celebrated with a pull day.

Birthdays are just another day at this point in my life but I am looking forward to staying out in a hotel with the Wife Saturday eve and i’ve been granted an off plan meal by the boss so all round happy days 😉 May even push the boat out and not opt for pizza haha we will see.

Push yesterday was tough, felt a little tired during the session and some lifts were one rep down, could have been different machinery/environment as trained at the awesome ultraflex rotherham. Was nice to be back to see kuba and Meg but at this stage in prep i’ve realised more than ever that I like my consistency and home comforts. Basically to keep stress to a minimum I like to be in my environment so i’ll sit out the rest of this prep at my gym and then do some gym tours and more days out sessions back in the off season. Hope that makes sense and gives you an insight into my mindset at this point 6 weeks out.

So that being said Jordan said let’s pull back volume for the next few sessions and see if that brings me out a little whole.

Todays session was one working set on everything working in the 8-12 all out failure range.

SEATED CHEST SUPPORT ROW
BENT OVER DEAD STOP ROW
MAG GRIP LOW ROW
INCLINE CHEST SUPPORT PD
REAR DELT FACE PULL
SHRUG

I like to keep fats constant and this will be around 50g per day which many would consider low fat
I prefer to get my energy from carbs so they will change dependant on goals
More carbs in a bulk and tapered back in a cut
Everything we do is performed in stages up or down based on your goals man, keep it simple, track your input and performance (output) look at the visuals then manipulate from there

Went to strength asylum today to train arms with the Viking and big Si
Great session – the more I train arms the more I feel they should be a staple in your split not just an add on for many people
Reasons why – this makes more sense when you are very strong!! So if your weak this might not apply
When you’re strong you create a great recovery demand so hitting things more frequently won’t make sense unless session volume is way down to accommodate
The arm day in a 2 on one off split not only gives the arms more attention and they WILL grow but it acts as an extra day of more food with less output which aids recovery also
End of the day frequency means nothing without application ??

How does a typical arm day look for u Jamie? You got some really good arms for ur height
3 bicep exercises
3 triceps exercises
2 sets per ex
12 sets total
I perform the bicep and tricep exercises as a superset and take 1 min rest between the bicep and tricep ex so my tricep set doesn’t suffer
Typical workout
Bicep preacher single arm
Tricep single arm rope push down

High incline bench seated DB
French press

EZ bar cable
Straight bar PD
Thanks alot man! ?
No worries man

Cycle update – things are hotting up. Please DO NOT try and replicate this cycle, I am not advising anyone do this but want to be totally transparent with my prep.
Test 750 slow ester
EQ 750
Tren a 1000
Mast p 400 replaces npp
T3 25
T4 75
Trestelone 30mg daily
Adex 0.5 x 3 per week
Insulin 6 pre 10 post
Gh 3iu x 3 per day am post and pre bed

Hey Jamie what have you noticed since adding in the trestalone?
Nothing major tbh buddy if anything a little extra strength in training
True. Heard mixed things. What about the pip? Does it have bad pip like a dhb or not bad?
Nope, I shoot it in my quad with an insulin pin pre training and no pain at all. And that’s great as normally any injections in my legs ruin me which is why I never inject quads.
Maybe it’s the insulin pin I’m not sure
