“Wow man that is nothing for your frame bro. Double it lol
I carefully choose my exercises buddy, machines and barbells in the main BUT that being said I don’t feel you really need a spot.
For me if you have a spot on a rep it doesn’t count as your rep. We can progress with no spotted or forced reps just by following the process and executing the plan week on week, does that make sense?”
I tried to quote and answered but something went wrong idk. I know, ive been going way too low for to long. Its a process getting out of that zone but working myself up and going to aim for at least 1 year of pushing the food up in phases.
I think I get it. Me myself imm going alone 95% of my workouts due to I like intensive workouts with short breaks between sets.Be careful with the shirt breaks. If the goal is muscle gain then having short breaks will take away from your session in the sense that you may be cutting yourself short.
Less rest means less energy and sub max output no matter how hard you think you are working, the only thing that matters here is lbs lifted each session.
Rest more lift more ????????

Do you have regular hot baths buddy? I have a hot bath 2-3 times a week. Essential after leg and pull days for me.
Look at how I structure my leg workouts on my log, compounds are 3-4th exercise in so the knees are really warm and invest is some top knee sleeves. For heavy compound work I feel sbd are good. Some would argue they give you too much flex and add to the lift but we have to be over cautious in terms of protection so don’t think you are being a pussy, you are just being smart here.
Don’t mess with lower rep range work like 6’s or below, this is when I notice the biggest flare ups, stay 8 plus and up to 15-20 rep sets.
Obviously supplements that the other gyms have mentioned are key too ???????? -
Rest day feels, woke up a few hours late today.
Might be a fixture for rest days me thinks, especially post legs 🙂 -

Jamie you’re a tall mf, do you have any tips for us tall ones? I feel like I have trouble getting fullness.Update more with your workout logs pls! Check in looking insane, true inspiration
Hey man it’s a case of more food for us I’m afraid that’s the key, no magic here we just simply require more fuel.
I’ll post more training for sure man, I like to keep my volume low around 10 sets per workout with high intensity and heavy weights, progressive overload style ofcourseHaha I guess me starving my body with 2700-3300 calories for 5 years for being hard its the reason why then. Its gonna take time to fill up with all the food then. Thanks for reply and also for posting your workouts.
How do you manage to push on max lift without no spotter? Keep posting great inspiration
This volume is perfect for me, it allows the correct amount of stimulus for optimal progression, muscle growth and recovery imo
I’ve done many longer workouts and all I find is I’m in a deeper hole come the end of the session.
To train like this you really have to give every set your all or you will leave the gym feeling like you had more. -

I checked in with Jordan this am and devised a plan of attack.
New cycle started which is
500 test
750 EQ
750 npp
Stick with current diet and allow cycle to recomp body through pushing the log book up, getting stronger this increasing output/calorie expenditure and increased thermogenesis from cycle.
This anticipating competing around October/November so we have a really nice run in to shows!
4 x top 6’s Qualify for the O JOB DONE hahaHave you seen the update on flights mate ? And the quarantine regulations for other countries especially the US?
Hey buddy I’ve heard that LA county is set for another 3 months of lockdown. I haven’t checked the long term vision for flights but was under the impression people could fly for work. The aviation industry won’t survive this till the close of the year so if your saying zero inbound flights to the US for the foreseeable I’m not sure how that would work in practice.
Send me a link to the info 😉 -
I would always have a base line meal plan that I know I needed to eat on a daily basis – never eat less and keep this constant. Obviously if your goal is to grow then on certain occasions I’d say a few times a week max you could be more flexible and add food.
But imo always keep that baseline plan and increase it as things stall then keep adding your extras when you see fit ????????
But at the same time remember your food choices will determine you’re overall look so don’t reach for the cookies too often. Yes it’s off season but it’s not fat season, make 85% of your calorie demands from good sources of food ????????

Hilly is spot on here, if you’d like to post your pictures in here for feedback or just a nod from us don’t be afraid to do that either.
Good luck bud. -

Wow I’ll be honest with you guys in here, I never thought I’d be so stunned and deeply saddened by the passing of someone I couldn’t say was a close friend. I need to put these words together so I don’t speak with any ounce of disrespect in saying that.
Luke was someone I knew through bodybuilding, I spoke to him in person only a handful of times. I competed against him twice at the British finals in 2015 & 16. I had him in 15 but then the juggernaut really found himself, he was born to be a professional bodybuilder and firmly on his way to being one of the best.
He’s someone I could have banter with on social media and we slid into each other DM’s many times but he wasn’t a guy I could pick up the phone to for a general chat just to give a little context.
So with that being said this has hit me hard, maybe because I’m a father and he leaves behind his kids, maybe because I put myself in others shoes in times like these and feel deeply sad to my core for the people closest to him. Maybe it’s because we all share a bond when we share the same passion especially when it’s so niche like bodybuilding. British bodybuilding is in a great spot but we have just witnessed a great fall which will be a hard pill for any force to swallow.
Yesterday immediately after the news of his passing I saw the negative side of social media, the simple fact that his family and loved ones don’t get there own private time to grieve and get lost in there own thoughts and upset. There is no privacy in the world we live in especially when you have status.
But on the other hand I witnessed the power of social media in all its glory when the many great tributes were and still are being played. Fouad and Bens go fund me page for Luke’s family shows the unity we all have in this sport and that’s a very special thing.
I guess we all feel the same, losing someone we knew, admired and laughed at so many times for being such a fun loving guy just doesn’t make any sense.
I pray that this will only make people stronger and stride farther forward in his absence. The stage won’t be the same without him and a great whole has been left in the industry and many peoples hearts.
Luke – we love you man – RIP brother ❤️????????Beautiful words mate. I mirror your exact thoughts.
hope you and the family are keeping well_________________________________________
