Back to 6 days out
Ran pro/fat yesterday. Today carbs are back but 50% of baseline diet.
Hunger yesterday wasn’t an issue but feeling it today.
Legs today was a good session, headspace was spot on and got just enough intensity to still be a fun session. Steps are done so will be feet up for the rest of the day.

3rd today in novice! Very happy with that and by the looks of things was a lot closer this time although frankly placing isn’t the goal this season
No placing in class 2 but looked like 4th based on where the judges put me which was very very encouraging.
One last dance next weekend which is a big one personally as for the first time I’ve got a group of family and friends coming down.
Feet are up, sushi is ordered and ready for some sleep

Show day, sat waiting for the athletes meeting, top coat on. Third meal about to go in then a tripple espresso.
Novice and class 2 today so more stage experience which is only a good thing.
Look is good, very similar to last week which was the plan as I really feel we nailed the look.
So far impressed with the FitX production, definitely feels a lot less chaotic although it’s a much smaller athlete turn out than last week (same venue).
Will likely update this evening/tomorrow with how it went

2 Days out – Not too much to report although feeling good heading into the weekend. Body feels pretty fresh, similar mentally.
Back to 86kg which we know is around where my body has looked great heading into the first show, the longer we hold this condition the better I seem to look at it, skin a bit thinner, little bit tighter from the back.
Hopefully will get the stage photos from PCA tonight so will finally see how the look was on stage just in time to see if any adjustments might be needed show day wise this weekend although since I’m doing two classes spread through the day it will likely look different regardless.
In for pull today then starting to pack for the drive tomorrow morning, tan is from 4pm so will be a relatively early start on the road.
Game time (pt 2)

Thanks guys for the feedback, really looking forward to seeing the pro photos when they’re in, only seeing some iPhone video so can’t really see the stage look yet
4 days out again, weight spiked and holding quite a bit. I think this is the offplan meal from Sunday coming back to bite me.
Decision made to go pro/fat only today, first day in the entire prep we’ve had to dig this deep so I’m not going to complain and know it’s required
Diet today:

40 iso whey
20g dark choc– meal 2 175g chicken 100g greens
50g apple– Meal 3 175 g steak 100h greens

Well it’s a 5th place finish today out of 8.
Initially the ego definitely took a hit and it didn’t feel good but got that part finished quickly after seeing some footage.
Simply outsized by much more experienced lads and end of the day we can only control what we can control. We brought great condition and loved every second of being on stage (well other than being called out for fifth but at least I made the first call out!)
Head screwed firmly back on for Saturday where we go again and get some more stage experience and see what different judges make of it.
Enjoying some downtime now with my other half (she’s KO’d after a long day of being more nervous than me lol)
Onto the next one!

Show day has arrived!
Woke up feeling a very tight 85.6kg full as a house so not much to do other than hold, guessing I’ll be on stage around midday so the plan is get three meals in beforehand.
Heads in a great place, just excited to show the hard work off confident it’s the best I can be right and the best I have ever been, which is a pretty good feeling.
Busy show so not expecting an easy time on stage but I love being on stage so that’s not a concern, all the years of touring in metal bands finally came in handy lol
Hope everyone has a great Sunday and thanks to those that have followed along and sent support 🤘

100g cream of rice 40 iso whey
30g dark choc
– meal 2 175g chicken 100g rice 50g avocado

– Intra 15 g eaa 20 g sustain 5g creatine 10 g glutamine
– Meal 5 140g g rice based cereal 50g isolate 100g fruit
– Meal 6 150g chicken 100g asparagus or spinach 100g rice 100g berries 50g avocado
hello my man, you look fantastic – you and Kuba have done a fantastic job.
Out of interest do you get much deep tissue work done and if so any on that right quad that has a little less detail in than the left?
I have had this with a couple of clients and the main cause was very tight hip flexors/quads and tightness of the tendon at the origin of the quad running into the hips.
Obviously of not use now but just some thoughts for post show 🙂
All the best for this weekend – should be real proud of your work 🙂[/quote]
Going to give the answer I’m sure most competitors do which is too little too late – something I didn’t stay on top of until nearer the end of prepGood spot Hilly, something I am actively working on
