I think see how you look on return, maybe you need a week back on those lower cals again before you start to re climb again slowly , so those 6 kilos go on over 10-12 weeks and you get some real quality 🙂

Totally agree, I think this is the best thing to do.
Will just wait and see what the physique looks like upon return.
And once that week on lower cals is over (if it is needed) should I do a short “maintenance” phase then hop back into a surplus? Or would slowly increasing based on body composition be more sustainable long term to stay lean?
