Right now I’m actually in contest prep, so I’m very lean and dry, and I know that can definitely play a role. The thing is, when I finished my bulk I already had the same problem with libido – and I wasn’t even that fat at the time. Dropping down to a low steroid dose didn’t help, going higher now doesn’t help either. Being fatter didn’t improve it, being lean now hasn’t improved it. I’ve also tried both higher and lower E2 ranges, but neither really made a difference.
I don’t really feel stressed at the moment, and I wouldn’t say I’m fatigued either. That’s why I started thinking maybe SHBG levels could be an issue, or possibly the fact that I haven’t used HCG in a very long time. Another thought I had was thyroid hormones – I’ve been running 25 mcg T3 and 50 mcg T4 year-round.
Do you think any of these could be the missing piece here?
