    Yes as many warm ups as necessary to feel that you can hit your worksets without injury. Adjust your weight so you fail between 8-12 reps. That is generally the what JP’s protocol is.

    Well he is giving you an alternative that is also a good plan. With DC, the one work set with rest pauses and 3 stopping points, would be very similar to doing 3 straight sets to failure. I feel JP’s method could give you a bit more flexibility in regards to exercises and volume. But the plan he laid would hit the body in a similar way to DC.

    This is absolutely the truth. i added just shy of 50 pounds in two years using DC 2days split exclusively and cut from there. No other split has worked as well for me to add size.
