Hi Peter, thanks for the response. That was my logic as you said if I’m consistent, the scale will be a good indicator on my energy balance.
I agree on the olive oil and high heat issue, just hadn’t found avocado oil in the shops near me as recently moved so went with it. Probably switch over when I run out.

Thanks all, I usually prep food 3 days ahead, 2 chicken breast meals a day, so only 80 cals per day. Wont worry too much in a gaining phase but be more precise or not use oil in a cut. Cheers. Typical overthinking as we all do

Thanks for your responses, have toyed with the idea of loaded stretches between sets but didn’t know if it was worth the time or fatigue rather than additional sets. Might just be something to trial and error, or play around with different tempo sets

Great thanks Oscar. Been hanging around 2400 a day, 2800 on training days. Gonna bump 200 on each next week and then make changes based on the scale from there
