both very good, however I actually found that Yamamoto’s Chnos-mimetic dropped my BG the most. Obviously that’s only one mechanism of a GDA but was interesting to see.

only just seen this log, one word YAASSSSS!! Looking forward to following Dan

Would definitely drop down for a set of ~12 and aim for maximum connection. During the second set, your reps would drop massively and you’d probably create a crazy amount of central and nervous system fatigue.
Also, you know for next session that you’ll need to increase loading to stay within that 5-6 rep range in the first set. -
Daniel, I always wear Lebrons for leg sessions and have for 6 years. Good ankle support, sturdy shoe and a flat. Helps that they look pretty cool too.

It’s just backloading mate, keeping carbs minimal throughout the day to maintain a constant blood sugar level.
Then add carbs into final meal to ensure you’re fuelled going into the session the next day.
Probably the most common rest day set up -
Tim gives a great point about the thought of others outworking him or putting in more effort. If that thought doesn’t get you going, then you don’t deserve to beat them anyway.
That’s always something I implement, along with certain songs that have some meaning to me. That always gets the blood boiling. But as Matt mentions, that this isn’t for everyone and can actually be counter-productive to some.

You’ve made incredible progress as of late, so I’m sure it’s not going to stop you and the motivates me a lot too to keep on pushing.
Hope you can get on top of it!!

You’ve essentially answered your own question, as often what you perscribe to clients is ‘the right thing to do’, where as you over think when it comes to yourself. At 7 weeks out, I think it would be a bad idea to change for a number of reasons.
Firstly, you’ll be inducing plenty of novel stimuli, presumably with the introduction of a number of different exercises (a full session on shoulders and triceps will be more exercises for those body parts than in a ‘push’ session for example). Of which will be placing an unnecessary recovery demand, which you may not be able to recover from.
Secondly, the PPL split lends itself well to a high caloric burn during sessions (I know that’s not the main purpose BUT does help). The Dorian split would not expend the same amount of calories, so you may find you may need to increase expenditure or reduce food to compensate.IMO, no isn’t the time to be experimenting. Perhaps at the start of your off season then yes. But as you said above: if it’s working, stick with it.

Thanks Matt, it appears to be a lot better than I first worried. However I still think it would be a good idea for at least a few weeks.

I really like the look of both, only thing would be as Mitch mentioned above, I’d have a loaded hip hinge in somewhere during the week. So if not in these sessions, then during Pull.
All in all, if you continually progress these sessions, you’ll have an impressive set of wheels!

Seeing as your calories are probably quite high if considering a minicut, it would probably be a lot easier to remove the calories via diet manipulation. Are you currently doing no cardio also?

insight also stock mate

Yes, not ideal but I personally do something very similar with 175gs post then 90 post post, separated by 90-120 mins. I don’t see it as a massive issue but if you started to feel any, potentially remove some carbs from post and add to intra.
Also, not ideal but couldn’t you have the meal a little later? Obviously I have no idea what time you wake up but…

I also highly doubt that the GI of COR and ready brek are the same… they’ll be closer than COR vs oats but still wont be the same. Also macro break down will differ.

The Meat Man (google them) is easily the best quality and price for chicken and beef (both mince and steaks), they also stock plenty of other foods like turkey, fish, etc. Been using them for 3-4 years now!
