    Main thing in recovery is making sure your sleep is on point, even though you may think your sleeping 8 hours you might not be in a deep sleep. I’d use a fit bit or Aura ring to track to see what’s happening.

    Also I find that having regular massages using hot and cold therapy works best for me, I take regular baths to make sure my muscles are relaxed after training which helps.

    Only other thing it just general rest and making sure you have some decent rest days where you aren’t doing much at all

    So I’ve realised that I can’t sleep in, body clock is still set to work time at 7am. But in the bright side I have got a lot of stuff done today.

    Don’t have cardio or steps to do in the morning so in order to make sure I stayed still I found a good programme in Netflix and relaxed with my feel up this morning.

    Pull session today, have had to watch my back for the past few sessions. So changed the Good mornings for Cable pull through which was loads better for my back.

    Weights are still going up though and I’ve had a really good session, done all of my steps already so looks like I’m sitting down for the rest of the day!

    Check in tomorrow excited to see if there any changes.

    Check in this morning down to 9 stone 2. Nothing has changed on prep at the moment. Steps have been dropped to 10,000 to try and keep me as rested as possible.

    Feeling really good today, it’s rest day been very busy with clients virtual and at peoples home. Loving doing this as it’s getting me out of the house and getting back to the job I love.

    Had an amazing chat tonight with Alicia for the Pro Female Fitness podcast talking to her about offseason, prep and my current goals for this year. Was good to have another persons view on Pro life excited for it to come out.

    Other than that I have to learnt to rest so popping in a film and getting my feet up.

    Check in has been changed to every other day, so tomorrow’s the day.

    Leg session today, cardio has been taken of me for now so I’ve been keeping my routine and getting up early but going for a fasted walk on a morning as I like the routine.

    Back is very tight today, had to have an early night last night as my back really spasmed up so having daily massages to keep up to it. I’ve realised that it is my posing that’s done my back but hopefully keeping practicing will get me used to the positions.

    Training session went really well, did have to go lighter on the weights but made sure that I got more reps and kept the tension on my legs and glutes all the time, can really tell as they are killing me!!

    Not much else to do today, only on 12,000 steps a day now so need to sit down and rest, few clients plans to do tonight but other than that chilling.

    I agree with Hilly, I always try and eat my Pre about 90mins before just as atm I’m on prep and don’t have carb source in my intra workout. But when in offseason and I do I find that my body doesn’t digest the intra if I eat my pre too close.

    So unless you still have the energy during training I wouldn’t worry.

    Log from Yesterday 30/05/2020

    Didn’t have the best day yesterday, hurt my back doing Squats the other day and spent most of the day curled up in bed with an ice pack on it.

    Always had a bad back when i injured it a few years a go if I add to much pressure my muscles just go into spasms which isn’t nice at all. Luckily it was a rest day so I did what I could and rested. Did have to go into work for client but managed to try and keep it moving so that it didn’t stiffen up.

    Feeling better today, so going to try some light leg work later to see what I can do.

    Jade the changes the past couple of weeks have been insane!! Your waist has just absolutely disappeared!
    You and Kuba have done an amazing job- your physique is so balanced and beautiful. You look so healthy and not tired at all.

    Now checking in every day, as I’m changing all the time. Was allowed a Re-feed last night which I really enjoyed as I love burgers and cookies.

    Up 2lbs from the Re-feed which is usually the case, checked in with Kuba this morning and we’re going back to daily check ins for now.

    Diet break is going really well although I’m a lot more hungry but I suppose my body’s not used to the body and is enjoying every last bit. Push session today should be a good one with having more food.

    Got a busy evening with clients starting to slowly go back into work and getting some normality back finally. So hopefully it goes ok.

    I get it when I have a refeed buy a good fan because if it’s cold in your bedroom when sleeping you’ll find you get such a better sleep!

    Another day another check in, progress is going really well. So much so that I’m in need of another refeed tonight… which is the usual:

    Burger
    Cheese
    2 Bacon rashers
    500g low fat Chips
    2 Cookies ????

    Can definitely tell a difference every time I check in I look tighter, feel in need of a refeed as I am tired but trying to stop myself from going over my steps…

    Trained Pull today, went really well weight all went up and really enjoyed the session. Not got much more plans tonight as I’ve got all my steps in so looks like a early bath and films for me.

    Check in a agin tomorrow so will share the progress ????

    I have a few clients and my partner that this happens to, as Hilly said it’s usually blood pressure.

    I would track what your heart rate is doing whilst exercising but my partner has never has any issues just gets it whilst training then goes away.

    Rest day today, got a lot of virtual clients this morning then a client as her house later on with massage as well.

    Got my cardio done this morning down to 20mins now, then went for a walk to keep fasted for a little longer for the yohimbine to work.

    Resting rest of today as it’s check in and training again tomorrow and I’m shattered, going for a walk tonight with Meg so that will be lovely to see her.

    Personally I do love a black coffee, but can’t have any more than one a day as I feel shaking on a prep, so I have that on a morning and use the JP Stim before training.

    You needing caffeine in order to get your going throughout the day?

    Check in day, down 1lbs from the of plan meal so back to 9 stone 1 pound.
    Been on the diet break since Sunday can definitely tell the difference I have lots more energy to be able to train and do general day to day things.

    Kuba’s happy with the progress I’m now checking in every other day, no changes since Sunday but looking forward to seeing what this diet break will do. In terms of looks as I know I’ll be able to train a lot harder and heavier!

    Leg day today, weights went up but I did struggle with my squats today. Back decided to have a spasm while squatting so had to decrease the weight and do more reps, which really annoys me when I have to do that as I feel like I’m not pushing hard enough but sometimes you just have to listen to your body.

    Nothing else to do today other than relax, have a few virtual online clients this evening but that’s about it.

    Total rest day today, taken a day of work so that I could get bits done for my online clients and home stuff.

    Luckily the weather is amazing so after I’d got everything done I’m now sat in the garden catching some sun! Really needed this rest day today, Body was tired and mind needed a rest.

    I managed to get a good night sleep last night and slept in till 8am which is unheard of for me. Check in day tomorrow and back to work and training so I’ll enjoy these last few hours of peace.
