I decided not to run with it. This prep so far has gone well and another element that has the potential to go wrong I don’t think is worth it.

I did on my last prep and was always a big fan of it however this time I’ve opted not to.
Thinking was that it would create an insulin spike that I didn’t want during fasted cardio BUT the main reason is that I’d personally rather better utilities my calories, 10g is 40 calories. I was using 10g pre fasted and 10g intra training which is 80 calories.
I’d rather have 5 egg whites, get more food and have a whole protein rather than what I kind of now see as expensive flavoured water.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve read the studies and particularly those from Jacob Wilson and particularly his younger brothers dissertation on the effects of bcaa and protein synthesis and that consumption of bcaa during meals will extend the time frame of protein synthesis.
I’ve since left that behind and focusing more on what I see work for me and trying not to “over science” the whole thing.
Would be interesting to read JP and Corinnes view also.
