    FBW.

    I have done FBW for 6 years, I have dabbled with PPL and other splits but FBW reigns king for strength and size IMO. Intensity sky high and volume low, no BS.

    3 growth opportunities to grow per week for each muscle rather than 1/2 with bro or PPL. 4 full rest days a week, absolutely unbeatable. Such an overlooked training system.

    Totally depends on where your physique is currently at. Beginner level: Full Body 3x per week; Intermediate: Upper/Lower leading into PPL when you feel you need more concentrated work.

    I switched back from Upper/Lower to Full Body thinking I still had something to gain from Full Body workouts and switched back when I realised I was going backwards. Still feel I have a lot to get out of Upper/Lower though and I’m about 4 years in, so it all comes down to your current level and how quickly your physique adapts

    Only difference is I’ve changed the rep ranges to 5-7 working set and 10-15 back off set, followed day 1 and 3 off JP’s insta post

    Hey bud looks good mate but personally I would put smaller body parts such as biceps and calves at the end of the sessions so that they don’t negatively impact my ability to press or pull as heavy and effectively as possible in the main part of the session seeing as progressive overload is the MAIN goal here ????

    Lovely I shall alter that to suit 🙂 I’ve noticed there’s nothing really for direct shoulders, I’m guessing this is because all the push movements tie in the shoulders

    it happens. I had a guy the other week run over and try to spot me while I was doing a static hold on incline chest with DBs thinking I was stuck under 20s…

    Do not concern yourself with this closed minded enough to dismiss what you are doing without understanding it.

    Commit to your plan, and force the adaptation.

    Just carry on with your plan if your happy with it etc then let results speak for themselves a lot will follow one plan forever and rarely make changes to their physique(I find these people are generally the ones who like to criticise others)

    Only started it Monday and got commented on Friday so just got my logbook to start beating now I’ve got some figures and reps wrote down

    Ignore them mate. Majority of people in the gym believe there’s only one way to train and anything else is weird. Continue smashing it and let your results do the talking.

    I assume you struggle with the macros because you use packets of microwaved so have to convert the rice from dry weight ? Or is it something else.

    There are certain normalities in gyms, bro splits in particular, that leave little room for guys and girls knowing another way. Years ago it would have been worse, but with how popular trained by jp is getting in this country there are more people open to different ideas. We’ve all been there I think, in same way or another, just laugh it off and focus on yourself.
