The workout serves for increased glucose uptake , gh inhibits glucose uptake , so where can we use gh more effectively knowing that we can take more and still uptake glucose ? The workout perimeter .
Makes sense, thanks Jordan!

Thanks!

I would use some basal insulin when Gh is in play lantus as it actually isn’t active for longer than 16 hours with m1 just to cover your eating window.
Measuring BG across day is not needed and doesn’t give any indication, BG too high not good also BG too low not good ( people brag with low BG across day but that’s actually not ideal ) you want controlled BG across
Check HBA1c for true sensitivity levels, you can be insulin resistant and still show good fasting BG
Any recommended brands? Lantus/Asabaglar? And would you start low, check hba1c and correct based on that?

When you say you didn’t see results trying different splits, how long did you stay consistent with one split to actually progress it and let it work?
I mean there is some progress, but in my head it was just not enough. I want that big hanging hamstrings in side shots but That’s not where I am at the Moment.
I stay pretty consistent with my Splits, at least half a year up to longer without changing anything except maybe 1 slight change to execution if some problems occur. -
So if the biceps have no impact, why can’t you just do hams after them and progress the ham lifts and then build better hams ……….
Fair. I guess I just overcomplicated things

Hi Jan,
When you say you’ve tried the different splits, how long for? This isn’t something that’s going to transform over night
You’re also talking about selecting a DL variation to put less stress on hams, which is the area you’re trying to bring up, presumably so you can then add the sets of hams to upper day.
My view is that at that point, it’s not a good option.
PPL for around 3 years, U/L for about 15 Months and FB Push/Pull for about 6 Months.
I just wanted to focus on ham curls to bring them up and for my deadlift Variation to mainly Focus my erectors with big impact on my hams on Days Where I don’t train them but want to pull from the floor[/quote]
*without Big impact sorry -

Starting with biceps on lower was just an example what worked for me, Nothing about impact on hams.
But thanks for you input, was just an idea I was thinking about coming from that „upper Body muscle on lower Day“ Theory. So why Not Turn that around

Do you think your big push ups in bodyweight up to over 300lbs or lower while not staying that lean were necessary to build that much tissue or would you have done that different with todays knowledge?

Thanks a lot guys! I will go with 4 IU for the next year to just use all things available und benefit in pushing up muscle mass while staying a bit leaner than without I hope.
