    From someone with a busy schedule I have to do this on a daily and it’s just about getting it in ‘when you can’- As the guys have said, toilet is probably your best option. Many times I’m eating a meal on my lap driving up the motorway on the way to shoots because I don’t have time to pull over and eat. If you want it bad enough, you’ll make it work! 💪🏼

    Evening guys! Rest day today so nothing exciting going on…

    Cardio, a little arm top up and then home to do ‘life shit’. After getting all the new TBJP clothes my Mrs has been onto me about getting rid of some clothes to fit new ones in the wardrobe so that’s how I spent my afternoon lol

    A week ahead of editing and not too much travelling, so training should be nailed to a tee without having to juggle anything 👌🏼

    Agree ref the Deadpool soundtrack – I took my lad to the cinema to watch it and we were both laughing our heads off at the opening scene.

    I finished Deadpool a couple of nights back, it lost me a bit in the middle but decent watch in the end. The random humour kind of keeps you entertained even if the story line goes mad lol

    Evening guys! Chilled Saturday after a few manic weekends on the bounce.

    Pull at the local gym which has just added some new pieces in, had a go on the Arsenal T-Bar which was humbling to say the least lol. Got the hammer strength S.A. pulldown in aswell which slides perfectly into my split. Numbers up on everything and my back has been smoked all day so job done.

    Off plan meal earlier, travelled a bit to a place called Burger Boyz. Absolutely banging to be fair! One of the nicest burgers I’ve tasted. A few eating challenges on the menu but I’m not sure I can be arsed with the digestion issues afterwards to even attempt it. We shall see…

    Rest tomorrow, so cardio, abs and a little bicep/tricep top up.

    Watched a wicked movie tonight, ‘Speak No Evil’ – Defo recommend if any of you need something to watch!

    Definitely agree to look at subbing in primo instead, just from personal experience where oestrogen has come back elevated primo did the job 👌🏼

    The key point is just be consistent with what you are tracking. It’s just like the cooked/raw debate. Whichever you decide to do, keep it the same and don’t confuse yourself too much.

    As the guys have said, eat to your energy output needs. Many factors to look at, even though you are resting from training, are you doing more physical activities on your rest days away from training? If so, then you will need more food than someone that’s just sitting at a desk all day so rest day food may need to be the same.

    Personally, I’ll keep food the same on both for clients until I need to tweak based on progress 👍🏼

    Evening guys! Legs are absolute toast tonight, mission accomplished ✅

    Nudged the swing squat up to 4.25pps, solid numbers set. Aiming to max this fucker out before having to switch movements, or just get calibrated plates on it. See which comes first I guess!

    Filmed the session for my YouTube (channel: JayDavies_UK) for anyone that’s interested, that’ll be dropping Sunday.

    A bunch of single leg stuff at the start, which I really feel is helping the development of my legs. Kind of wishing I started doing this sooner tbh!

    Home alone this evening as the wife is working and my daughter is at a sleepover, so last meal going in and I’m going to finish watching Deadpool & Wolverine. That intro to the film was epic! 😂

    Evening everyone. Busy couple of days catching up after Italy but finally got there.

    All sessions been boxed off this week so far, even though a turbulent start to the week with being away and flight delays etc etc

    Push B for me today, which is basically my shoulder focused session. Slowly creeping up the sets, adding reps across the board. Really enjoying log booking again 😬

    I have a 7am shoot tomorrow, so it’ll be pre meal at 6.30am then legs around 8.30/9 as I can’t face travelling back and forth to the gym in one day. At least it’ll be done and then I can get back to work in the office!

    Hey guys, greetings from Italy. 2 busy days and finally a chill day, heading into Rome to see the Coliseum and Fountains etc

    As for the show out here, my guy came away with respectable results 4th out of 9 in the masters and 5th out of 8 in the open. They were the strongest classes of the day by far so happy he had a battle up there!

    Managed to get 2 sessions in out here 🥳 Pull yesterday and push this morning, as you’d expect in Italy – Panatta EVERYWHERE so my sessions were hit and miss, just like Panatta kit haha

    Plan wise – Been monitoring my BP closely because I had a really low reading last week which concerned me a bit. We’ve decided to pull out Telmisartan as it seems to be dragging me down too much. BP is very regulated since that in relation to my current bodyweight so happy about that!

    Back to the UK tonight and back to work!

    What’s up guys. Quality leg session today! Finishing up my 3rd week on the new split so really dialled on the numbers I’m after in each session.

    After not logging for so long, I’m actually enjoying it. My sessions are a little faster aswell, with knowing what weight I’m aiming for which means my warm ups can be tweaked to that aswell 👌🏼

    Off to Italy tomorrow morning for the IBFA Worlds, not as a videographer this time but as a coach. One of my guys qualified earlier this year so one last abroad trip to see the year out and be there for him. Gym sourced so will be getting 2 sessions done out there and return home Monday night.

    Have a great weekend! Will touch base from Italy 🫡

    Afternoon people. Recovering from my ‘rest day’ by training and editing lol

    8 hours on the road yesterday with Nathan, but a pretty fun day to be fair. Never feels like work when I’m having a crack with him lol

    In for Push B which is my more delt focused session. Trained with a recent coaching client of mine and banged out a testimonial for it aswell, if you haven’t seen it check out my instagram. One hell of a life changing journey he’s been on!

    Leggies tomorrow. Back on the swing squat, so the rest of the day will be eating and sofa surfing so I can nail that tomorrow because I feel battered today after sitting in the car so long this week!

    I’ll normally add 4 times as much water, so for me 100g COR I use 400-450ml water. I’ve used both kettle and microwave, just constant stirring does the job. It will still be watery but there’s method to my madness…

    I use Vegan protein which volumises ALOT (perfect on prep) so I need a bit extra water to then mix the protein in, the amount of water determines if you want it like cement or smooth 😉

    Afternoon guys, big day on the road yesterday so just catching up. New one coming to the site from Sas in the coming days! Look out for it 👀

    As for me, 5am push yesterday which I HATED but it has to be done with a schedule like that. 8 hours driving and 2 shoots back to back, it is what it is. Numbers still up across the boards so I’m happy!

    Today, posterior. Really drilling these pulls off the floor to make sure they’re hitting my Hammies over Glutes. Everything goes straight to the bunda if I grip and rip, so took 4.5pps for a ride as last week I had 4 for 11 – Today I took 9. It’s ‘light’ compared to what I know I can pull but slowly scale this up over the weeks and make sure the form is nailed each time.

    Rest tomorrow, which basically means another day on the road. Up to Liverpool to film with Nathan De Asha so 8 hours in the car after pulls, can’t wait 😫😂

    All based on the individual. If you struggle to put weight on, maybe leave out and use as a tool to help digestion etc

    If you gain easy, then use for general health and again for digestion.

    Myself right now, I’m doing 30 mins direct cardio x 2 per week only on rest days.
