Greetings from Espania! 1am alarm to get to the airport for a 6am flight, I am on my ass.
After some consideration I’m taking this week OFF from training, which is huge for me considering I struggle doing rest days. I’m pretty sure a week of no training and just relaxing with good walks will set me up for a solid start to the off-season when I return home.
I’m not sure if daily updates are needed out here as I’ll mostly be either in the pool, eating or having a few beers but I’ll check in as much as I can.

Hey guys, couple of busy days my end just finishing up work to go on the family holiday later tonight. As much as I look forward to these things, it’s a weird because I know it’s the last thing on the calendar before I get back to work with off-season.
Leg today at the new local gym, tried out a few new bits from NewTech including the hack press that Milos says the best squat machine out there. It was good, but I think that’s a bit of a claim if I’m honest lol

Evening guys, busy Sunday here – 5.30am in the office editing as I had a shoot today, followed by training so just playing the juggling game again.lol
Density – solid session, SLDL followed by RDL with pulls, 2 hamstring movements around that, then onto the back exercises.
Bloods came back yesterday, all seem good and the green light has been given for Off-Season which commences on the 2nd September and I cannot wait. I’ll be posting everything in here so stay tuned 🙂

Evening guys! Just arms today, decided to start using the BFR bands on this day and go higher volume than my normal training. As I said before, this is kind of like my rest day, so it’s not too taxing to affect tomorrow’s session which is density.
Had my bloods back already, sent over to Cal to give the green light. Off-season should start 2nd Sept so not long left now!

Hi guys, thanks for all the replies. Done a bit of research last night and hyperthyroidism can apparently give you itchy, irritable skin and sometimes break out into hives. The sources weren’t the most reliable though it was just random webpages

I would personally just pull one of them out or adjust dosage at a time and see if it stops mate, I’ve never heard of it but could just a person dependent kind of thing.

Hi Karol, a 40/40/20 ratio is a good place to start. 40% Pro / 40% Carb / 20% Fat
As you said, put higher carbs around your training – track EVERYTHING you eat and just adjust from there depending on if you’re coming down or pushing up.
I would say, space meal timings as much as possible just to avoid any digestion issues also 👍🏼

Morning guys! Back on the road 😅 This is a week from hell haha
Got the bloods done yesterday finally, turns out I have a rep for E-Val living 10 minutes from me which is ideal and she sorted everything. I’ll await the results on those next week and send to Cal, then it’s the family holiday and we can crack on once I return 💪🏼
Other than that, great leg session yesterday followed by delts this morning. Full weekend of training ahead aswell. I’m not sure how much time I’ll get to go to a gym in Spain so will probably ‘over train’ leading up to it so another 6 days of training ahead – I just throw an arm day in, instead of rest days which usually doesn’t affect any sessions before/after.

Morning guys! Wow, it’s a busy one for me. London yesterday all day shooting and I’m back on the road to Liverpool now to film with Nathan for his YouTube.
This meant having to train at 5am or not train at all, so double scoop of DNFM and off I went. It’s not optimal training that early but one thing about my life is that, if I don’t do it when I can by sacrificing some sleep here or there I won’t be able to get where I want to…so it gets done!
Having my bloods done tomorrow finally, which means we are closer to ramping everything up! Definitely ready to do that now after 14 weeks 🤣

Afternoon people! Busy start to the week here, shooting some content locally and training so just getting back for a few hours editing. Tomorrow I’m off to London for the day shooting at Muscleworks Orp so it’ll be a day of juggling the shoots and training, then Wednesday it looks like I’m up to Liverpool to shoot Nathan De Asha, so it’s pretty non-stop!
Trained chest today and took these New Tech pieces for a spin, used the new ‘ADVANCE’ range which underwhelmed me slightly as they look pretty heavy duty but ended up stacking it with plates and getting far too many reps. Gym Pin maybe? Hate having to do that when trying new kit for the first time, would much prefer using normal loading before progression gets to the point of adding more attachments etc.
This week is a prime example of why I can’t log my sessions, as each one will be a in a completely different gym and a variety of kit. The most important part is the work is getting done tho!

Lots of updates and changes coming to the site guys, so it’s basic teething issues which are getting ironed out in the background. Bare with them! Jord has recently said about ramping up his YouTube on his IG so stay tuned for that, the last YT run we did was very well received so he sounds motivated to do it once again.

I’ve used it as a last resort if I’m travelling for multiple days and don’t have any more meals prepped. You’re never going to beat cooking your own chicken with these type of things, but they’re defo useful if you’re in a tight spot…it beats getting 6 chicken selects from McDonalds!lol

Hey Tobi, low sleep is my forte!lol.
I’ll still train, but I’ll be mindful of what the rest of the day looks like. If its a busy day travelling etc then I’ll park the training for the following day.
Hydration is priority on these days, I’ll always aim to get 2-3 litres down me before I train, meals as per usual around that and then obviously try and capitalise on getting some more sleep the following night if possible.

Hey guys, 2 days rest for me…I am battered. After being ill last week I was keen to get back training this week, but could feel myself burning out in yesterdays session. I’m away all day on a shoot tomorrow so that will mean 2 days complete rest, I’ll see how I feel Sunday and it may even fall into 3 days to start fresh Monday. We shall see!
Almost into the last 2 weeks of being ‘healthy’ before we begin pushing back up. Bloods getting booked in next week and myself & Calum have mapped out a rough plan for the next 18 months…Exciting times!
