Legs at the home gym Planet Fitness today. Contemplating relocating to a different gym, just due to the interruptions mid session with clients etc wanting to chat. The closer I get to prep, I know I’ll have to make the jump!
As nice as it is for people to be interested, when I’m so busy and that 2 hours is ‘my time’ out of the day it needs to be locked in and fully focused. We shall see…
Apart from that. The Cybex is ruining my life (& my knee) with week 3 at 6 plates for 6 reps and no more. It would be cool to see it go above that, but if there is no progression on that by next week it’s gone! Not really sure yet what to swap in instead of it.
The rest of the session was sick! I’m not really logging everything right now, just going to complete failure within rep ranges and being a little more ‘instinctive’ with it. If you watched my leg day video on the site today I talk about that a bit. Shoutout to anyone that has watched it!

Evening all. Just sitting down after a busy day of juggling editing, training and DIY 🤦🏻♂️
Doing the home office out at the moment, which makes me think I should have just got someone in to do it as I’m far to busy to be painting etc etc haha but we are almost there!
Pull/Hams today. Trained with one of the lads who’s 5 weeks out from his show, so it’s getting me itching to start prep myself now!

Afternoon guys! So we have an update…
We are having a pre-prep tidy as of today which is music to my ears right now. Definitely feeling like I need it after holding it here for quite some time. Weight was 256lbs on check in this week, but when looking at pics I thought ‘Yep, ready to diet’ haha
Cardio increased to 30 mins daily and also around 1000 calories taken off food intake. We are running this for 3 weeks which will be when we plan to push for 7/8 more weeks and then into prep. This for me is the start of prep. Mindset is fully locked in now and the better I can be over these next 10/11 weeks the better my prep will begin so I’m excited!

Enjoyed watching the new leg day video on YT Jay – as always cracking content.
I do think those of us with busy schedules who have to juggle training/food around work and family find you very relatable.
Looking good though dude, excited to see what 2025 brings you 🏅
Quick Q, when dieting I see a lot of people pushing their first meal back as far as possible.
I know you used to be part of the early morning crew on a regular basis – training circa 5am.
If you can only train early in the day (which is what my schedule allows for) I take it there is no way of pushing that first whole food meal back as it would be too long a gap between finishing training and trying to hold out till late morning.
Keen to hear your thoughts…

So when I used to train early (sometimes I still do depending on diary) I will still get my meals in on a usual timeline but possibly space out the meals a little longer (3 hours instead of 2.5). For example
7am – Meal 1 (Post-workout)
10am – Meal 2
1pm – Meal 3
4pm- Meal 4
7pm – Meal 5
10pm – Meal 6 (straight to bed)Obviously this depends on calories you have to play with. If I’m on low food the back end of prep sometimes I’ll end up eating last meal around 8pm. Hope this helps!

LEGS 💀
Decent session. I had a sports massage this morning at 8am as I’ve feeling a little tight and ready to snap, but due to how busy my week has been it was pretty much straight to the gym after it. Optimal goes out the window when my weeks look like this!
It’s about doing what I have to do, around everything else I HAVE to do if that makes sense.
Session was decent as a whole. Still running the Cybex at 6 plates, a slightly better set than last week so we’ll take it. Everything else was up tho 👌🏼 Kept the pace high again today and judging by the dark grey t-shirt I walked out of the gym wearing work was done!

Just got back from a busy day! Up north with Big Nath and Pheebs to film some more bits for the site.
No training here, so just an early start on the computer with check in’s and some quick edits then hit the road.
We also had some of the other guys shooting the new TBJP clothing drop over at the TBJP gym so a busy day all round for the team 🔥

What a push session today! 7 plates a side on the Atlantis incline, huge jump this week as previously I’d been on 6pps and a 5kg added but the strength was there…so I took it!
Everything else continually increased the session aswell which I’m super happy about, considering we’re still cruising and have another 3 weeks left of it. Things should get interesting when the sauce gets added back in!
Hope you guys are enjoying the content we are now putting out on here. My first video drops tomorrow, followed by another with Sas Tuesday.
I’m on the road tomorrow to film with Nathan and Pheebs, so there will be much more to come. We already have content with Sara and Joe in the archives ready to go also 😎

What’s going on guys! So, site content is back. New video with Sas dropped today. We’ll be looking to put out 2 videos a week going forward so keep your eyes peeled.
As for me, had to really juggle my session around today due to this niggle I’ve had in my back the last few days. Pulls from the floor and hamstring work had to be removed, as the back pain is lower back/upper glute – going to see how it is next few days and then get treatment if it doesn’t sort itself out.
The rest of today’s session was a bit meh tbh. It’s very rare I have one like that so it doesn’t really feel like I’ve trained. Frustrating, but it is what it is!
I have another site shoot this week, so sessions will be placed around that. It’s busy right now but nothing I can’t handle!

Afternoon guys. Best push session yet! Up to 6 plates (+ a biscuit) on the Atlantis incline for 8 which is the strongest I’ve ever been on there.
Plan for foreseeable, keep the strength where it’s at as we go to a cruise for 2 months from Feb, hold the bodyweight above 250lbs and then it’s an 8 week push up before prep begins in June.
Current cycle:
750mg Test E
800mg Primo
300mg NPP
8iu GH
50mcg IGF1 (training days)
Tomorrow is pull/hams so let’s hope the strength rolls into that session aswell & the lower back pls stay clear!

1) Do you notice a significant difference in how you feel/look when running GH at 8IU vs a lower dose? I always hear the term “More GH the better” from the likes off IFBB Pro Beef Stu and a lot of others. Would you agree?
2) How are you dosing IGF-1 around training—do you feel a big difference in pumps/fullness from it?

Cheers mate! So from the GH being at the higher dose the fullness is definitely another level for me. Running at 8iu feels fine, I did put it to 10 for a few days but I immediately felt the lower back enter the chat so dropped it back down lolIGF-1 again was really good, there was for sure a difference in the ‘feel’ in the gym etc. I only ran it for a few weeks as I managed to get some good stuff. I think it’s one of those again that is hard to get really good legit suppliers of!

29 weeks out! Scary saying it like that haha
Just 4 weeks left to the cruise now. Still running everything at 300 test & 300 primo, weight as held nicely sitting between 253-255 most days. I always see the lower end after busy days travelling and filming, regardless of me hitting all my food and water etc
Well earned rest today. I feel absolutely battered!
Trained at the TBJP gym Friday which was also filmed for YouTube & the site so look out for that. On that note, content is being ramped up here with all athletes so there will be an influx of videos very soon!
