it’s a tough one. really comes down to your ability to remain accountable. I’ve always found myself personally require more help.pre contest but who’s to say our Off season couldn’t be even better.

financially I understand doing your own thing if the cost of certain coaches is high but coaches thst I know like the guys on this particular site (not trying to plug) I know are more affordable than the American coaches for example

I’d prefer a coach all year round for one big reason.. for them to learn your body through all phases… big .. lean…etc etc

I also add that the main thing I find in the off season is finding your macros and activity balance.. you can certainly be a little loose with food choices etc.. sorry I’m blabbering on.. both have benefits.. ultimately just gotta do what you feel is right for you

@jhollingshead89gmail-com just wondering after watching your series you use a specific cinnamon as it’s more pure etc.. I’m the same as you I’d rather put a bit of extra money in for more quality products! Which cinnamon is it you use bud? Very curious as I use Schwartz which you can buy from any supermarket! Cheers mate

Nathan de asha would be good, I can see why he isn’t everyone’s favourite he does seem quite outspoken so it’d be good to see another side of him. He’s a freak anyway and knocking on the Mr Olympia door so I guess he can say what he likes. What’s your thoughts on the Shaun rhoden scandal? Can’t believe it tbh but now it seems there is a space for someone else to have a chance at the Mr O. Look forward to the next vid.

it’s hard to say. I know friends of his who say he’s an amazing man who is simply addicted to sex but he’s not and never would he someone that would rape. I believe the two are very different things and perhaps some one out there is trying to use his Achilles heel to fuck him over

James what about doing a video with big Eddie hall or martyn ford? Maybe you can do a cameo in one of his movies lol or how about Zak khan since he’s trying to make a comeback? He’s a very interesting character and so much potential.

Seriously loving your content man, you’re paving the way for British bodybuilding.

I’d be happy to though I wouldn’t bend my training style for content sake .. so if Eddie wanted me doing strongman I’d be like Hell no hahaha

I’m actually training with Nathan de Asha next weekend at his gym and he is supposedly filming. looking forward to catching up with him and giving him a push in his run towards the Olympia. know jes not everyone cup of tea but Perosnally we are good friends and he’s always been very supportive of my career and we go back a long way. I’m one of those guys who supports every One who has been good to me. hopefully we have a sokid session and get some decent footage.. maybe some.morw personal mind Set talk from him to as I’d like to truly know how he feels going into the o.. we see the social media site of many nut not often see the inner feelings of these champions. they are not normal believe me..they have something inside that isn’t common.. Let’s try to dig a little and find it haha

Exactly my friend. Appreciate the simpler things in life. To be honest I love a good spa day and am considering implementing this as part of my stag do next year, bliss.

Nice one, Anth is pure intensity and one of the closest things you’d find to a modern Dorian Yates. Must be a Northern thing but nonetheless you more than hold you own big man. Of course you train intensely yourself!

Love the whole insight into the bodybuilder’s mind. Currently working my way through the old school videos of Kai Greene, Jay Cutler and the likes. A whole other level and the recent Phil Heath video just shows you that these guys are on a completely different planet in terms of thoughts and mentality.

Enjoyed your food challenge with Bug Larry as well. Looked up the burger after and my word, it’s ridiculous! What is the biggest cheat meal or cheat day you have ever had? All the gory details please.

for me the mind is the most intriguing part of it all

that’s why I like to have a camera on me to the point i forget it’s there.. I find then you truly see someone’s inner self and mind Set.. no false advertising just real inner self stuff

and haha I used to have entire cheat days as a JR back inn The day.. Tbh it used to work too.. might be because when i was that Young I under ate most of the time to get in shape and even the refeeds wouldn’t be enough to knock me out if a defecit! also I used to be told to take 100 plus mcg of t3 ! now as.you know inwaste away on the stuff

Would love to see a session with John Meadows or Dusty Hanshaw – that’d be something intense. Any thoughts on training with Anth Bailles again?

Have to say that one of your day in the life videos inspired me to do something I have never done – visit a Turkish barber. My gawd, what a service. From start to finish you are made to feel like a king. The male equivalent of getting your nails done… um, it’s fine if you like treating yourself to that too.

As above, looking forward to seeing you start to push up again. All the big benches, squats and deadlifts – literally a human forklift. Aside from the get better all round, are there any specifics you want to improve upon during this offtime?

haha I agree the barber’s is an amazing way to relax and really reset.. It’s important that we all have something that does that

I definately will be seeing Mr bailes again soon. we have spoken about our next catch up so it won’t be long and we will certainly aim to capture that

    he’s very intense …

also is love to train with dusty and John.. this year I aim to get about and do so. as long as I have the wingman Chris with me.. we are happy to capture what you guys wish to see. It’s about you guys seeing everything… I want to let you in as much as possible basically

Do u ever higher on t3? Or have u done it? Saw a video where u took 50mcg? Do u not  go that high more and why?

How long time would u say to be on 50mcg if u need to get the last body fat of and don’t take all the muscle
I used t3 at 50 last year’s shows I believe and from them realised how much I flatter off hense why this year I was much more reserved .. you can get peeled with as little as 12.5 but 25mcg seems adequate and easy ish on the body
So u would never do 50mcg again?
if I can avoid t3 all together i would but nothing is out of the question
