Really appreciate your time, James. Your intensity and dedication are second to none and, your humble and afable nature really lend an enjoyable experience following you.

How often are you getting soft tissue work done these days? Is the diet still changing frequently and do you have much latitude to throw a high cal meal in from time to time aside from direction to do so?

hey bud tissue work will be 1 x monthly minimum

doet wise I’m building up the food currently so nothing is super set

still figuring myself out a little off the back of this year..

I plan to be locked into strict plans by Decembers end

using this time to work out a few things but also to enjoy training mostly

I’ll be set in soon.. mentally still back and forthing with potential ideas

the one thing that is set is that i know i need to grow

ideally you’d have had them done before starting course

to prevent gyno again typcially you would run low dose of A.I along Side the test

most would be fine with what I do

I use Aromasin just 1 tab per week broken into two.. each taken on the injection days

half a tablet equates to 12.5mg

    I’m broken this evening

hit a pukka leg session today with Luke

main exercise was reverse band Hacks

have to say.. best I’ve ever felt in rehsrs to muscle stimulus by doing this particular setup

appetite is still good. cardio still at 30 am

got home from this workout today.. ate .. had a shower.

recorded The ukpromusclepodcast then crashed … Legs are throbbing

literally woke up now. just eating and hitting you guys all up here

so far really enjoying the training

lower volume than I’d normally go for but my body is actually loving it..

we hit just 4 exercises today compare that to my usual 8 or so.. yet I feel trashed!

could be that training with Luke is making me push myself weight wise a little more… time will tell

the goal is to push up to over 300lb so I sent my current plan of attack with eating to Jordan to check.. he was happy

I still like Jordan to oversee even my food so he knows where I’m at with that too. I kind of always know how to do the Off Season part without too much guidence but I do like to have eyes

still working out the plan and wjat riles Jordan and Chris are to have over the 2020 season.. obviously much just to what degree we shall see.. right now I’m chill and just rolling towards the goal of growing. I’ll call in on them when needed
    as I value them both

So I like cardio on off season. It won’t directly keep you lean but it will keep you healthy and it will

    Keep your daily expenditure up.

The more your body is burning the more your body is processing n thus the more utilised for growth.

Light cardio will also increase blood flow got active recovery and keep you fit for training sessions.

I personally would prefer it done first thing with some stretching ????

The only bit we haven’t covered chaps is energy balance . The issue , we often see is the misunderstanding cardio has inherent fat loss capabilities in if itself . It’s like prep starts – must do cardio , in offseason – want to prevent fat, must do cardio. People don’t understand energy balance ( I didn’t for a long time , so not a criticism ) . To the original poster , if you wish to mitigate fat accrual , then eat less! This will be exactly the same outcome as doing cardio – there is a shift in energy balance to a smaller surplus .

yep this is true as Jordan rightly says. I could eat the 400kals less.. but like to walk to start my day..

the only thing I would say is that walk g prolongs the tine of which you fast which I see some personal merit for..

is it going to stop you putting on fat?… not likely.. however it’s not bad for you so if you enjoy it then do it

also it does help with my appetite

Prevent fat gain in an offseason? I’m assuming the goal of your offseason is to gain maximum muscle tissue which requires a calorie surplus and with that, fat gain.

Doing cardio if assisted, to aid digestion or just because you enjoy then fair enough. Personally I just focus on day to day NEAT to aid digestion and not feel like a total slob.

Also, when doing cardio I’d keep it away from the workout window as you’re essentially sending your body mixed messages.

Ultimately, if you want to maximise muscle mass then fat gain is inevitable and necessary.

I say the same when seating why i do off season cardio.. Haha just means less fat than what could be and would be accumulated of there was less activity

there is no direct answer as it depends entirely on activity for the rest of the day vs food intake.. however

I shoot for 400 typcially and try to take a walk or two daily to my local high st.. it’s a few hundred metres away (This is off season) same reasons.. to control fat gain

Have you considered Proviron? 50mg of Proviron could help you out quite a bit and would be much easier on the bloods

this is my approach .. prov at 50 would suffice as far as I know (I’m not the wisest but it’s what I do)

    you definately have an issue

I know because I’ve been there

i was suffering back whilst caring for mum in the later stages of her cancer

living at hers my way if dealing with life was to consume foods that satisfied me…

something tells me that your cycle / habit is emotional response to something?

    Hi James,

What is your current split at the moment?

What is your opinion on DC style rest pause sets and why are you not incorporating any in your training sessions at the moment? Do you think  doing 1 heavy and 1 back off set on all excercises is superior and the best way to go?

Also are you taking gh on training days only or ed? Did Aceto switched from eod that he used to have you doing?

    Huge respect from Greece

    my split is

    push

    legs

    off

    pull

    push

    off

    pull / legs

    off

    hgh eod at current

rest pause will come back in when it needs to

at the minute regular sets are more than enough stimulus to grow.. the calories are the main tool of growth right now.. when that Slows or stalls … then we introduce intensifiers for a second wind

love the hardcore trading videos but equally enjoy the day in the life or the shopping/food videos too. good to get an insight into this too.

I prefer day to day stuff myself.

funny because the thing is.. the better you get on the stage … the worse you get at real life. lol I.e the focus is so strong… days off are even dedicated towards maximising your progress … rest becomes important.. so much so that the days may become somewhat dull haha.. we arnt all like that.. but I certainly have seen that In myself

hi James. what benefits do you find GH as in off season and do you find it makes you retain a shit ton of water particularly when you re introduce it?

I don’t think hgh use makes you retain any more than a few lbs maximum. not enough to severely change your look. I use hgh all year so if I was to get really soft off season I personally know it’s not from that. it’s constantly in my plan so it would come down to other factors besides the hgh use
