    In bodybuilding, especially assisted bodybuilding there are many health implications and adding something like smoking into the mix i struggle to understand personally. I’ve never understood why people do it, it brings no gain in anyway, just bad health and expensive. If someone has the will power to endure bodybuilding then surely giving up smoking shouldn’t be an issue. But I have never tried it so I can’t say it’s just my perspective looking in.

    Solid days rest today.

    Physio with Matt and now things are feeling good from his perspective. He’s happy with how my muscle and everything is sitting and it’s the best I have been in terms of mobility in a long time.

    Not much to report apart from that.. just another day nailed.. rested up and ready to hit the next 2 days of training!

    As budget isn’t high you would get a much better bike for the same price as a not so good treadmill. Bikes are small and much more manoeuvrable if they need moving so I would go for a bike personally. The treadmill has advantages like hitting steps if you need to

    Legs legs legs… done. A solid session today. A rep up on all main movements. I reset the lying ham curl as last week it got sloppy and connection was so much better. I see so many people butcher a lying ham curl. Arse chucked in the air, moment carrying the pad and half an eccentric. Squeezing the glutes hard at all times and driving hips forward as far as possible will hit your hams like no other.

    Jordan is happy with check in this morning again. 238.5lbs so another pound down and conditioning has took a big leap forward in the last few days. By the end of this week I will be nicely on track from here.

    I know of a few guys using the crown stuff and one of my guys did their entire prep on it, they have all experienced positive things from it so far

    Client of mine who has had very minimal drug use, no history of kidney problems and previously good bloods come back from medichecks yesterday at 49… we have rebooked with a reputable doctor for specific tests so I will let you know the results and difference ASAP

    Chest and bis and it was everything I wanted from the session.

    Strength climbed on most things and execution felt lovely.

    Today has been the first day I have felt on prep. Body outside the gym had that slow/heavier feeling and I love it. One thing I love about prep more than anything is the daily battles you have to get through the day as perfectly as possible and telling your mind and brain that is doing everything it can to slow you down “fuck you” lol and win another day. Today was another win and I don’t intend on loosing anytime soon.

    Legs tomorrow!!! We go again

    That’s some solid progress mate. Some good chest development in particular. Like you say we all have our own race to run. You are moving forward and getting better and we need to take that as a win and remember that on days where you feel demotivated

    In terms of adding easy calories to alter your energy balance I don’t see this as a bad thing. There are better options but it depends on the amount of time you have. I would personally add some more easy calorie dense carbs across the day. A muffin pre wo or with one of your meals and a few more carbs across the day

    Good morning all. I fell asleep last night so my log wasn’t done for rest day.

    Yesterday was a good rest day. 2lbs drop and another drop this morning takes me to 239.5lbs. That’s around 8lbs in 8 days. Condition posing this morning was much better. Quads are feathering and lower back and glutes noticeably leaner. Mid section this morning was the smallest it’s been this time and I’ve got no concerns about that coming in just as tight. I do feel bloated throughout the day so I’m trying to find the cause of that. In for chest and bis today and my most important session of the week in my opinion so head is well and truly on for this one

    Delts and tris today and a good one. I felt good and progressed the majority of the lifts. The single arm over head ext just hasn’t moved in a couple of weeks and today regressed so I will swap that out but apart from that everything felt and moved well.

    Posing post wo I was a little flat across the top line again. It seems the more heavily I sweat in a session the more I’m flat which obviously makes sense. Tomorrow is back so I’ll have a better idea what’s going on then with 2 training days under my belt.

    Session today was

    Prime lying cuffed lateral x 2

    Prime shoulder press x 2

    Cuffed x body pushdown x 1

    Dips x 2

    Jm smith press x 2

    Sa tricep ext x 2

    Pec dec x 3

    Prime lateral machine x 4

    dips and jp smith press are chest exercise?

    Hey man.

    No the dips are tricep focused, keeping upright, scaps rammed back and load the stretch on triceps.

    JM press is the same. Both will hit a little chest but the focus is to bias the triceps at all times
