    I always like 8k steps a day for most. If someone has an active job this will obviously change but in general I find 8 is a nice start

    Rest day today and a rather busy one.

    A visit to IKEA for the first time…. Wasn’t keen. Why have things on display then you have to go and rummage through loads of white boxes that are nowhere near said display?! Online ordering for me I think haha

    It was actually a very chilled out day. I got physio done early and didn’t need to rush and got my steps in wandering around the shops.

    I woke up this morning with what feels like a small tear at the top of my left quad. I felt a little burning there yesterday after hack but just put it down to tightness. As the day has gone on it’s got pretty sore so I need to keep my eye on it. A little icing tonight and I’ll see what the next few days say.

    Weight still at 252 this morning but I do expect a drop after a longer active day today. I’ll be very shocked if not.

    This is better than it was for sure.

    It still may be at the upper end of your recovery capabilities but this will also depend on how hard you can train and how far you can take each set along with factors outside the gym.

    The only way to see if this works for you is to do it and give it a run and see how things go especially recovery wise.

    Ahh I’ve just realised my log last night didn’t upload? That’s frustrating.

    Ok so i assume you can’t see it so I’ll touch on both training days. If anyone can see it let me know please as this has happened before.

    In a nut shell very good! Chest yesterday everything progressed and legs today did too. I was 2 reps up on the heavy set on the cybex hack. I only do 5 and a half plates but this is the 3rd set after 3 second and 1 second pauses in the hole so hitting 9 reps I was extremely happy. I was also 2 reps up on all 3 of my pressing movements and posing post wo looked good.

    Weights still not shifting from 252 but me and Jordan agree that after the dietary changes things should start to come down any day now.

    Rest day tomorrow and I’ll do some shopping for the new apartment after physio as I’m taking with me absolutely nothing so it’s completely starting from scratch there. I’ll likely get stressed at picking a sofa of a table or something before I even start and call it a day haha

    Hope everyone has had a good weekend and enjoyed some sun

    Hey bud

    There is a slight unevenness.

    Also looking at the pic it looks like your right shoulder sits higher than your left and your right trap is also more developed ( possibly the reason your shoulder is higher through tightness)

    This is very likely down to a postural issue/ tightness of certain muscles and actually training unilaterally in this scenario could make this worse as you will be pressing differently with each side.

    I would see a good physio and get their assessment on how things are sitting then I would pay particular attention to how you press moving forward.

    It could be a flare up of the tendons that’s aggravated through them movements which is pretty common.

    A few things you can do here.

    Make sure you warm up properly and possibly putting the

    Movements further back in the session.. after leg ext, leg curl etc

    Physio to make sure there is nothing that’s overly tight causing the issue

    Tiger balm/Kwan loong oil on the knees prior to keep them warm

    Wear good knee sleeves (at least 2ply) to prevent more damage

    Join in and cure coming to help reduce inflammation

    Shockwave therapy is very effective at helping this issue

    Genetics and lower levels of body fat will dictate how vascular you are.

    Jp pump 2.0 will give you a nasty pump and a good chance of more vascularity while training however

    251.5lbs this morning and 12 weeks out.

    I would of expected me to be in the 240s by now but body is holding up well. I’m definitely getting leaner but not going flat like I would in the past. I would loose fullness almost instantly in a deficit so I have a good feeling about this. I’d much rather push hard to get down than constantly have to hold back like in the past.

    Chest and bis today

    Very good session. Every exercise progressed and it was in the money! Posing after I was very happy with how things are looking and posing is flowing much nicer.

    Legs tomorrow and fingers crossed it’s not melting in the gym. That fucks me so much when it’s hot. Either way we are taking pbs across the board

    Hey Scott.

    in your cruise/recovery phase I would remove the insulin. Ideally we want to be on minimum of everything.

    At 4600 kcals food isn’t sky high so I assume carbs are reasonably moderate here too so the insulin won’t be necessarily needed and give your pancreas chance to function fully on its own for a while

    You might be lucky here then. An abscess will be hot to touch the area, usually is red or like a rash on the infected area.

    It may just of been a bad shot if it’s just a pea sized hard lump already.

    I would keep a very close eye on it however Over the next couple of days
