    Rest day today.

    Plenty of rest and a lot of work done.

    A decent sized dog walk to hit my steps this aft and a couple of naps.

    Sent pics over to jord this morning sat at 264lbs. Midsection was quite inflamed but I had m6 late. Pics were ok but what i expected after a deload. This time next week things should be loads better again.

    In for chest tomorrow and I can’t wait feels like I’ve not hit it In forever so I’m in to take PBs across the board

    I think first and foremost you need to trust your coach. He/she will of collected data
    And response through your diet phase and could be using fish for a few reasons. If they say digestion then I would guess they are trying to keep midsection super tight.

    Eating fish 4 times a day for 4 weeks if it get the best results and the job done.. just knuckle down mate in this last leg

    Hey bud. Looking at the information you have provided here I feel there are a number of things that could do with some tweaking.

    – 4 on 1 off and only 3 chest exercises on a push day means you are only hitting the body part you want to bring up every 5 days for 6 sets?

    – if you are recovering from the 4 on 1 off your recovery must be very very good so why not do push pull legs off repeat.. dropping the arm day and adding them in on the push and pull day. This way you hit your chest and push more frequently

    Like Curtis says the air fryer is the best option for chips.

    You can boil them first or just throw them straight in.

    You can also cut the potato up in cubes or wedges.. boil them until soft then cook in a hot oven until crispy as an alternative

    Back and biceps today

    I felt fresh this morning so it was back in at full volume. The first few warm up reps felt perfect so I knew it was on! Everything from then on just felt and flowed great. It was good to be back in the gym with a new lease of life and a level of aggression that had dropped off a little from the fatigue, this rest was more than needed and now I’m fresh it’s time to smash this prep.

    261lbs this morning and a little flatter with not the usual pop. This is only from the rest and the low volume and already after the 1 full session my body is back to life again this evening.

    Food is sat at 7000 calories currently and digestion is getting better. I’ll check in with Jordan tomorrow and see where we he wants me to go from here..

    This does sound odd. It’s a heavy press so as you get heavier with the loading of expect the increments to slow quit a bit but not this much.

    I’d try the biscuits and work Up. 223kg and get that to a 15 rep then 226, 229 and see how that feels.

    No a problem imo. If weight/fat loss slows and you are trying together the last bits off you can take it out then but if you are still progressing like you say it’s still good to go

    I like a low pulley style row for this machine or cable. If done correctly it will really get things firing and feeling very good for the session ahead

    Looks legit to me too. It doesn’t always have to be the product itself that causes an infection it could be the injection protocol, not swabbing the tops or the injection site etc.

    Thanks for the speedy response guys @Clare @jimmytonk1

    I think looking into pre/intra drink is a really good shout which I haven’t thought about. The food sources which I have in my post WO meal, when placed anywhere else in the day never cause any issues.

    For my PRE meal, I’d have oats, whey, banana and 90% choco and I tend to digest this fine.

    Then my PRE drink is always a non-stim Pre WO (currently JPre PUMP 2.0) and 5g Creatine.

    My INTRA is 30g HBCD, 20g EAA and 5g Creatine.

    Now the only supplement I use from a bulk company is the HBCD (Bulk Powders) so I wondered if that might be the culprit (poor quality?)

    What do you guys think? I suppose I could always try a tub of Performance Fuel or should I just have my EAA’s and see how I get on witht that first?

    If your pre meal digests well with whey then the intra carb could well be the culprit here.

    Next couple of sessions just remove the intra carbs and also the creatine and see how you feel.

    Do you have whey in any other meals?

    Whey is known for possibly causing digestion problems when people have previously been fine with it.

    Also like Clare says do you have an intra and what’s in it?

    Delts and tris today and another devolume.

    Much fresher today and the session felt good. Weights felt light in my hands again and they moved very well. This is a good sign and I’m pretty sure I can go back in at full volume again tomorrow for back.

    To me the rebound has to be treated like prep. If you are ready mentally and physically to more or less extend your “prep” time by the next 8 weeks then I feel you can really take advantage of your body’s position.

    Food is certainly king here there is no doubting that but you can also get more bang for your buck (providing you feel fresh and healthy) by adding in test and some compound/s

    300-500 test – the leaner you are the more I feel you can lean towards the upper end of this.

    I also feel NPP can be beneficial around 300mg

    Utilise this time well and you can make some major progress. Food will need to be upped gradually, I prefer to do little and often rather than a large bump in Calories but this is person dependent and some can handle more of a jump in cals that others.
