Taken a turn for the worst this evening after sleeping all day. I feel like I need to bite the bullet and get myself on the drip because nothing is touching me and now my breathing is shallow. Last thing I want is pneumonia off the back of this. I’ll give it a couple of hours and if I’m no better I’ll be in ??♂️

Evening all. I’m beginning to sound like a broken record but no change again today. I’m really fed up now, I just want it over with or to feel at least half ok. Today was the worse so far, I couldn’t leave the bed and all meals took an age to eat as my throat is like open bare flesh and swallowing anything is still like running sand paper on it. The doctor said I should start to feel better around tomorrow as the antibiotics should be doing their thing. So I’ve got everything crossed I can sleep and wake up tomorrow feeling better.

Hey well soon buddy.
Health is priority mate. A couple of missed meals mean nothing if you can’t digest well, train well or you are not healthy in general.

I wasn’t a fan. I used one extensively near the end of my last prep to try and make height for my class. They just left me feeling uncomfortable and groggy and I didn’t feel any benefits from it

I track from complete sources only. However many track everything. These are only numbers at the end of the day as long as you keep consistent with the way you track things you will be fine. Use whatever method you prefer and find easiest

Cut all the way up till the gym opens. As hilly says you will have no demand for extra food until then.
Your first week in the gym should really be 70-80% and lower volume so you don’t screw yourself over and put you into a deep hole. This first week will be ideal to add the food and keep adjusting accordingly bud as you move into full volume and loading

On wake today there was no change to my situation. As the morning went on I was very very poorly indeed, I couldn’t move and I had a bad fever, headache and now my throat was starting to close making it difficult to breathe. I was pretty scared at points I’ll be honest but if I were to get in the ambulance and be admitted to hospital i simply wouldn’t be able to eat my meals or drink enough etc unless I’m about to die I wouldn’t go to a hospital. so I took the risk to stay at home. I’ve got all meals In up to now, they take me 90 mins to eat them however. The last 2 meals instead of having cream of rice I’ve had performance fuel for ease and it allows me to get fluids in and stay hydrated too and it helps as I have 0 appetite
I’m starting to feel a little better this evening still not great by any means but anything is better than the way I felt earlier
I also did a lateral flow Covid test that came back negative and I’ve been prescribed penicillin by an over the phone doctor so fingers crossed the next day or so sees some dramatic improvements.

Well this is bollocks! No gym for me today again! Didn’t get any sleep last night, I’ve not been sick since the other night but now it’s like the bug ran me down and now I have a severe case of tonsillitis too along with the usual fever and sweating etc. I’ve still managed to eat all meals today in between sleeping it just takes me about an hour per meal because swallowing anything is painful as hell.
This is pissing me off now and I look like a 10 year old boy, already 7lbs down in just water weight alone leaving me soft and skinny. I’m praying I wake up tomorrow feeling even half ok so I can function because this mofo has really got me good.

Early log entry for me. Today was supposed to be legs but late last night I had a sickness bug hit me out of nowhere. I very very rarely get ill but this one has got me good.
I’ve had full rest today and not been able to move off the sofa apart from getting my food. I have still managed to keep all my meals down and they’ve digested fine so that’s positive
I’m hoping it’s a 24hr thing and I’m good to go tomorrow because I don’t do well in these situations and I don’t have time to be ill

Great suggestion from Clare and as rich says it’s down to your personal taste. My fave meal is simple minced beef and rice, I find I can eat a lot of this.
A good thing to do is list all the carb sources you like and all the protein sources you like and turn them into meals
