    Fasted in the morning is best. I would look to be under 5 in a morning and 5.5 before meals. However be careful. This can become an obsession checking your blood sugar and basing your actions off the reading, I’ve seen this a few times people stressing out over their readings. So morning only is best I find

    So will argue it’s not needed if you aren’t using insulin but I don’t see an issue in checking where things are sitting

    Test and estro is a touch high as hilly says. If you need to reduce your dose of test a touch but if you have no sides or issues this is all fine

    Back day

    This session has been progressing nicely for me week on week and today was more of the same. Some top lifts matched but form was a little more controlled and a slow eccentric really putting maximum tension through a heavy load.

    I’m a little tight across the traps and rear delts. This took away from me being able to really get the lats hard in the upright row. My physio has been off so I’ve missed 2 sessions and it shows. I’ll be back on Wednesday thanks god I desperately need loosening off.

    Today was the first time I looked noticeably different post training. I felt a little small yesterday but today when I was hitting my rounds of posing my waist and upper were softer and I didn’t have that harder look what I have been carrying. This is going to happen in this phase. I don’t miss a beat, not a crumb over or under my diet. No meals off plan, everyday is executed exactly the same and shit gets done! So regardless of the look now it’s temporary and all I can do is follow the plan set. I will get my bloods done this week and then again at the end of the clear out

    I don’t see an issue.

    There is a difference between abusing something and taking something.

    Take alcohol for example. If you have a drink or a blow out every now and then the chances are it will leave no lasting affects but if you abuse it the implications are much different (liver failure etc)

    Same with steroids. You do a cycle for a holiday once a year or a blast on test every now and then, chances are that you will be absolutely fine abuse them for a long period of time however and that’s when things can get serious and the risk/reward is way outweighed.

    This is my personal take on the matter

    There is scope to add a 7th meal if you put them 2 hours apart and you are hungry. But this will be the basic set up for your day

    Early log entry for me today but I find myself with an hour to myself where I have nothing to do which never happens but I’ll take it.

    Delts and tris today

    The session was good and I’m hitting the delts very well at the moment leaving them fried. Triceps also however as a weaker body part for me they aren’t progressing in strength as much as the rest of my lifts but I know they are getting hit with a lot more precision and frequency so they will adapt and grow. I’m confident about that.

    I woke up this morning and I’m starting to display the signs of needing a deload. My legs are still very sore so recovery is a little down, I was very lethargic and tired and for the first time since starting the plan I could of taken or left training today. Now when you love training like I do if there are days you could have a day off then I know I’m fried. I will monitor the next few sessions and give the feedback to Jordan and see what he wants to do.

    I felt like I was a little smaller and flatter today. I didn’t have the usual pop and tightness I have been displaying recently but this will happen. I’m still in a great spot though so we crack on

    Thanks for the reply mate. What size orange pin is best to minimise scar tissue? I think I have 25g 1 inch or should I get a thinner needle?

    Depending on the amount of oil you are putting in at a time I would lean towards using an insulin pin. This will leave the minimum amount of scar tissue.

    Other than that as hilly said the one inch oranges will be the next best bet

    It depends on how your day is structured. There is nothing wrong with waking up later in the day if your schedule allows it.
    I personally get up at 545 if I didn’t I would not be able to get everything I need to get done in the day. On rest days I sleep until 7 as my schedule allows it.
    If you feel more productive In a morning I suggest getting up earlier but on the other hand if getting up early makes you tired and less productive throughout the day then sleep as much as you can.

    I am going to be working in the office soon. I think it would be 10 am.
    So in order to train before work will need to wake up 6 or so, I rather train before work. Tried training after work did not like it [/quote]
    That sounds good. Do what works and feels best for you and then build your habits and routine around that 🙂

    Rest day today and an update on the quad. It seems to be a lot better already it’s still noticeably swollen compared to my other leg but some more ice has brought it down. It feels a little sore but it’s nothing like I expected so I’m very happy. I feel like I’ve got away with one there. It could of been much worse with how it felt at the time. Next leg day hopefully I can do a little quad work but we will see.

    Appetite at the minute is ridiculous. I’ve been using jasmine rice instead of COR while I waited for the delivery. COR went back in today and I digest that stuff so well I’ve been starving all day. Never been this hungry on this much food In off season. I’m not complaining I like the hunger and what it symbolises as it means I’m efficient and processing everything I consume

    Hey Harvey.

    So this all depends on your own recovery capabilities. It’s likely that you are going to have to reduce volume in the sessions and looking at the split possibly switch that up too. Especially with the 3 days on plus manual labour, this will be taxing and very difficult to recover from.

    Switching to a push, pull, rest, legs, rest, repeat set up would work much better here. It gives you an extra day or 2 rest which will be needed then you can tinker with volume from there.

    With regards to lower back it is your exercise selection that is causing the issue and loading the lower back one exercise after another. This session will need re jigging.

    Hey bud. The majority of athletes on here are online coaches so there are plenty you can learn from. Like kam and Jordan have said you can pretty much coach yourself just from this site alone but if it’s accountability you are looking for then I would suggest picking a coach that you can relate to most

    What a tit I am!! Giving it yesterday about how injury free I am and how good everything feels is no longer the case….

    Legs today. Adductor progressed and felt solid, first 2 sets on hack moved nice and felt good…. 3rd set on and the heavy set of the day first 2 reps moved EASY and I was on for a very good set, 3rd rep aannnddds POP! In my right vastus medialis I immediately aborted the set and was scared to look. I really wasn’t sure about this on.

    After inspection it’s swollen and red but I’m sure I have just pinged a few fibres and it should be ok. I’m icing it now and it’s gone down and I managed to finish the session just no quad movements.

    I checked in this morning. Weight around 255lbs but the look is still good. Not much change at all and me and Jordan are happy to hold this look here until we are ready to go again.

    Next time I’m injury free I’m not saying anything lol
