Taking lantus at that start dose is fine. Get a blood glucose monitor and track sugars throughout the day initially until you find a good balance with it and carb intake etc

Hey mate.
Firstly I feel like the most important thing is to get yourself into a better place mentally and I think the best way to do this is how you have pretty much described already. There is no deadline to get in shape so you can simply take your time, there is no pressure here. Get yourself back to maintenance and sit there until you are ready to go again.. you will know when this is.
Cutting for a period of time can become tedious for some and if it’s a factor that affects you then removing that temporarily is one less thing to worry about.
Don’t put too much pressure on yourself and take things at your own pace bro ?

First day today in the new set up and it was legs
A decent session feeling my way in but I’ve been a little under the weather and had a small migraine that progressively got worse throughout the session and it’s left me smashed. Luckily it’s rest day tomorrow and I can rest up. Most clients are now set up so it’s back to normal service

I find them useful with or without insulin. It gives you an idea of how you are partitioning glucose throughout the day. It could also be a tool for deciding if you need to lower carbs/mini cut if insulin sensitivity is shot etc
For the price of them it’s definitely worth getting one

I would start by using the same amount of carbs from coco pops as you currently use in your post workout meal and go from there

Stay off is my advice. Don’t waste a cycle when you have limited resources. You want to get as much out of it as possible

Rest! You won’t be able to recover properly and it will just prolong the cold or sickness when you are smashed in a hole.

Evening guys. I don’t even want to bring it up an say it because I know you are as drained of this constant lockdown business as me if you are currently in the U.K. but it looks like we are here again. We know the drill. I feel like many of you may need a little more breathing space this time and a day or so to take things in, plan and then execute the plan. I have found with my clients this time even though we are all super motivated on meeting our goals that a couple of days respite is needed which is totally fine
Today I trained chest and biceps and a great session too. The physio in the AM loosened up my scapulas so pressing felt very good.
Session today was

Atl inc press x 2
Nautilus v high incline x 2
Prime flat press x 1
Assist dip x 2
Lateral machine x 3
Biceps x 4Tomorrow is a new day and I hope everyone is feeling as good as they possibly can right now.
It’s easy to say we have got this but we genuinely do and the work continues ???

Another good rest day today. A few small errands to run so I was kept busy but not much in terms of expenditure.
Recovery at the minute is very good. With the way my training is set up there’s nothing that smashes my CNS so I’m recovering at a fantastic rate and this helps keep things like digestion, appetite and sleep on point
I checked in with Jordan this morning and he is happy. he gets my vision of what I believe I can accomplish with my physique and this excites the shit out of me. I need more tissue and that’s the goal to add only quality where is needed.
Chest and biceps tomorrow with some physio then mobility before to get my scapulas moving

If you are in a lot of pain like you say it’s not wise to carry on training on the issue

I feel like you should of cut longer from the information I can gather. 15% body fat is reasonably high to end a cut on. This will also be why your insulin sensitivity is poor as you are likely to be already carrying more fat.
My advise would be to get leaner, improve insulin sensitivity and be in a position to be able to push back up effectively.

Day done. Just got off the laptop, my days are very long at the minute. Up at 545 and pretty much finished for 11pm this includes training in between but I don’t stop most days.
Back today was very good. All numbers up and connection was nice. No trouble from tendonitis which was refreshing and a good sign that treatment is already helping
Rest day tomorrow on a Sunday so I will have some time on my hands as I have only a couple of check ins on a Sunday which will be nice after a very busy week
I will also check in with jordan in the morning for the first time in a week so let’s see what things are saying

Sounds like you are dehydrated to me. An electrolyte supplement along with plenty of water will help
