Hey man.
Thanks for posting. This is a forum of very like minded individuals and it’s important that when times get particularly difficult that people can vent or share their experiences and I’m sure a lot of the people who read this thread are in a very similar position and can relate.
The guys have already gave some very good answers.
I’d just like to add that times like these are temporary. This is a bump in the road. A rather big bump but we can take solace that shortly we will be able to be in a gym environment again.
A big factor is to accept that we can’t train in gyms and from then it’s important to find another way to keep ourselves occupied. This could be focusing on business, learning something new, self education. It’s simply a case a keeping occupied and having another short term goal. This has really helped people I work with

As people say it’s person dependent. I know bodybuilders if high levels that drink weekly in the off season and it seems not to have too much of a detrimental effect on their training. On the flip side someone like myself however who doesn’t drink at all for a few reasons
I would rather eat than drink my calories because I’m a pig
I feel crap off just a small amount of alcohol and it will affect my training and hydration or even just make me think it has/will
The stress of veering so far away from my plan isn’t worth it
Drinking doesn’t interest me.

Chest day today and a very good session.
Slight lack of power in my right arm was noticed but this is down to the mobility in my scap and tight bicep which is getting sorted next week so I feel that won’t hinder me at all.
Very good pump and felt full. Today for some reason I seem to be very watery out of nowhere. I did change my prop and eq to a different brand so it will be interesting to see if this carries on
All in all I’m feeling good and ready to hit hams and bis tomorrow

Rest day today
Just client work and rested up with a couple of dog walks through the day for me
Ready to hit chest tomorrow
Actually feeling very hungry tonight and like my body is back in prep. The feeling you get when you are just moving in prep is a weird ache and I have that again.

Quads today and a big day for me interms of wether or not I could train adequately.
On wake my side felt a little tender but I didn’t have the pain I had last night
It kept getting me as I stood up and bent over in certain positions but I wouldn’t know until I was in the gym.
I put a tight waste trainer on and then a belt on top and I got away with leg extensions and a hack squat so I simply took these exercises to the death! Loading was down a touch but I just went until I couldn’t move
Quads felt like there were going to blow off and I got the mental release I needed as I was a little down today because I thought I was not going to be able to train.
Rest day tomorrow so hopefully a day of icing plus a long hot bath will make it much better.
Also guys I go live on the site tomorrow at 7pM U.K. time so tune in for that and a chat all things bodybuilding

Genuinely don’t think my luck can get any worse
Felt a bit crap all day but picked up in the afternoon. I went into the gym to train back and I have dropped a good amount of pre wo so I could go IN and ruin myself
RDL back in. 5plates felt like air and 6 plates was easily moving to in the feeler.
I decided to be sensible and set the reps at 6 plates 4 reps in and it was looking at an 8+ rep set, rep 5 and… pop!
Just under my right rib and pulled or slightly tore me serratus (excuse the spelling) after that i belted Up to try and keep pressure on it so I could carry on but it was a futile effort to be honest. I managed a small pump but it was pathetic
I’ve had ice and a waist trainer on for a couple of hours but I did this last off season from sneezing believe it or not and it took weeks to heal
Bad day in the office for me so I shall see what the morning looks like

ok… so we’re talking added oils, avocado, peanut butter etc.
Would you count the fat in lean red meats like grass fed flank steak?

Whole eggs
SalmonAs added fats due to their profile
But sources like Clare describes that have trace fats I would count as 0 fat

I feel it’s important to stand your ground.
I feel most of us have at some point been through similar situations.
Keep doing what you need and want to do that propels you closer to your goals and makes YOU happy. If other people don’t understand or are willing to be open minded about your path then that’s their problem

Hey guys.
An early log entry from me today.
Today has been a write off. I had a day off where I needed to catch up on jobs and rest up but I’ve felt crap all day and just had to sleep Inbetween meals and managed to get nothing productive done
I’ve just been for a walk to get some air and I struggled and I’m hoping I can just sleep this off and be good to go tomorrow
I very rarely get ill but when I do I’m a bad patient I won’t lie. I spit my dummy out because I just don’t have the time to be ill lol
2 meals to go today so I’ll get these down me and hopefully I’ll be ready for back tomorrow.
RDL is back in the menu and I want to get off to a flyer
