GH impedes glucose uptake so check meals following GH and see if BG is staying high , if it is , do something about it ( move the GH , add insulin )

Thank you Jordan, I am currently taking it at night when I wake up for the first piss (your recommendation actually, I used to take it first thing in the morning pre fasted cardio). Once I bumped to 8iu I guess that’ll be pre training (your recommendation again).

    Hi mate,

Theres a really good vid on here about this exact thing, I now monitor glucose after watching this – it’s by James Hol – check it out.

Awesome, thanks! I am searching for it right now.

Depends why you are testing it and what you are looking to achieve – just checking on Insulin sensitivity or looking to manipulate timings of certain peptides.

For me I would always take my fasted – 20 minutes on wake post some fluid.

Second time would be 120 minutes post a meal of the day away from training and keep it the same for testing.

You may then want to test post workout if using peptides and looking to manipulate things more so here

It’s really just to test insulin sensitivity (and how increase GH will affect), I am not using any peptides other than GH at the moment. Noted on the fluid how much water are we talking about? 0.5-1L? I normally drink 1L after the bathroom break first thing in the morning.

    Thanks!

Stick it in a sample bottle , say it’s perfume and send it

Thanks a lot! I initially put in a small GH vial.. I guess it looked too pharmaceutical indeed.

Thanks a lot! Each point you brought up makes a lot of sense.
The biceps injury happened because my first movement (one arm machine preacher curl) loaded the biceps in a stretched position. Since that I have stopped using those movements as first exercise (that loads the muscle in a stretched position).

    Thanks a lot!

Volume (as in number of sets) is the same but indeed I end up training legs 4 times a week, reaching the end of my (first) prep my legs were basically constantly sore but the weights and reps on compound movements didn’t drop so I just pushed.

Right I get it, I agree that a single as a last warmup set is as low fatigue as it gets. 🙂

    Hi Clare,

Understood, so your take is to really minimize the amount of fatigue before the work set.

    Thanks for your reply!
