I personally use a HBCD but demo day is a mix of carb10 and HBCD. I think you should stick with what sits best with you and doesn’t give any bloat

I also do as Hilly does with rice. For chicken breast cooked 100gr is about 31 protein.

    I appreciate that mate ????

100g cooked basmati rice is on average 25g carbs

100g cooked jasmine rice is 33g carbs on average.

Just stick with these numbers for life and then as you increase of decrease things will work as they should.

I cook all my rice in a rice cooked and weigh it cooked and have done for years. Its just easy and much more manageable when you have to be out and about all of the place.

I do a batch Monday and a batch Thursday.

I would make sure pre bed meal as come carbs in.

I would have an isolate with cyclic dextrin/vitargo or banana mixed in as soon as my ass woke up. Add a touch of sea salt

I would then be using some good quality amino and carb product intra. Add a touch of sea salt

Do you think that would be a better approach than waking up earlier and having a whole food meal if training at that time?

Hi, I train around 6am too and just have my carbs in the evening then take EEAs and intra carbs during training. I’ve tried a meal pre gym at that time and just didn’t agree with me!

What’s your approach to the carb meal in the evening? Is it a large meal? And do you do a slow digesting with added fats?

Would be good to see your current composition too. Sometimes dropping bfat can do wonders for increasing appetite and building muscle, you may also need a deload week, if your fatigued, not sleeping well then these can all impact appetite so there are many factors.

Here we go Ryan I will add some photos, I am 6’2 220lbs

I also take L-Glutamine at 10g every morning and with my current work schedule I train very early in the morning (5am but wake up at 330am to eat a meal and let it digest before training and then I’m asleep by 830-9pm)

I wake up feeling pretty emptied but by the end of the day I feel full and slightly bloated but not gassy [/quote]

looks like your doing all the right things buddy, maybe look at the foods that are causing you to feel bloated, so a case of trial and error. Like Hilly said remove the Tren and see if that helps. Have you got a list of your staple foods, we may be able to spot potential foods that are causing the bloating.

Yessir I eat the exact same foods every day

    COR
    Whey
    Jasmine rice
    Chicken breast
    Beef (once a day)
    Olive oil
    Coconut oil
    Nut butter

I was thinking since I train first thing in the morning and have 90% of my carbs around training, maybe my pre workout meal (first thing upon waking and 60-90 minutes before training) then I have an Intra and post workout meal all carb heavy, it slows down my digestion and my body just can’t catch up. Maybe I should lower the pre workout meal and spread the carbs out to post post meal and see how that does. Or even go to a protein shake and some fats pre workout and keep Intra and post workout and post post with most carbs more like a JP diet set up and see how that would work for me

I would definitely be interested in seeing some other people’s opinions on that, I might give it a shot to optimize my sleep schedule as well.

I do train at 5am, but I do also wake up at 330am to eat then go back to sleep for an hour then get up and go to the gym, usually asleep by like 9pm though to make it work for my schedule

If your looking to add additional calories without becoming to bloated then you have tools like coconut oil, nut butter, oils, certains cheeses. Aslong as you have a calorie surplus then the rest is train, recover, repeat. I use 10g L-glutamine every morning before i eat to aid digestion. You could also do some light cardio 1st thing to get your digestive system moving. I wouldn’t want to force food to the point where your gassy and bloated so there is a fine line. Use foods that digest well and if your appetite is small use high calorie easy to eat foods.

Drop the Tren. No brainer really. If you cant eat, you wont grow.

Not many will use Tren off season for this exact reason. This and the fact its supposedly harsh on the body, and sends lots of people loopy.

I see where you are coming from, I can get the food down I just don’t have that hungry feeling. Am I digging myself into a digestive hole or is it okay to still put the food down if don’t have that hungry feeling?

Fasted BG is between 4.1-4.3 still
