Highly unlikely to be new muscle tissue i noticed you pushed the bulk a bit too far so this is just the body in a happier place to perform.

    Makes sense, cheers!

Hello mate, if you are a first timer, i mean by that almost no background of workout, and start the deficit straight, yes you will build muscle in deficit, cause you go from a “no gym” to “gym” way of life.

But if you are bulding since many years and you do your cut now, you won’t build muscle, but good point with your lifts staying in progress, you will limitate efficiently the muscle loss.

Be careful bot loosing weight too fast though

I’ve been lifting consistently for just over a year now, training in general for roughly a year and a half but this is the first time I’m dieting down. Appreciate the advice on not loosing too quickly, I’m doing this way at the minute as I pushed the initial bulk a little too far too fast so I’m just trying to get the brunt of it off quicker and then pulling back and slowing down once I start getting on the leaner side

Most likely just body is very efficient and well fuelled. You won’t get gaining muscle if you’re losing that mucj weight consistently. If this is your first ever diet and you’re using anabolics then maybe a bit of muscle can be added

Nah no anabolics right now, mam would probably kill me if I was using them. If anything the progress I’m making on a cut just shows how much I can progress when I push another bulk. Thanks for the reply!
